Pistons got the better deal, but the rumors were that the Magic were looking to get a pg, like teague. They were considering trading Oladipo for teague. so perhaps this is better. Either way, not a groundbreaking move. No one involved is a serious game changer. Just nice complimentary players.

Hopefully lots of huge rumors are created and nothing comes of it! Like most years.

Good job for Pistons imo. Not sure which direction is magic taking with this one, atm I can see it either as an attempt to free some more minutes for Hezonja and Gordon and cap space relief (Jennings is expiring, they would have TO on Ersan and in that case Frye is probably going to be shipped off before deadline too) or just a first move to come back into a playoff picture which would mean that we could see some of their youngsters (Gordon/ Hezonja/ Elf/ maybe even Oladipo) being traded away for win now piece (s) in next few days.

I think they might even try to win with this, while maintaining flexibility in summer. They have deepend the rotation at critical positions, sending away most expendable, and expensive guy.

(nine man rotation is more than enough, they have wing depth)

I have mixed feelings about this but y
I think Orlando wins long term. Mainly because Hezonja will most likely start and I still think he's a future stud.
