CHA - Markelle Fultz, Dario Saric

Charlotte kickstarts the rebuild while Philly gets another star that can play the 1 or 2.

I'm very torn on this one. I really like Kemba, and I have for a long time. But he's not a talent that will transform your team all by himself. His ceiling is really a key cog on a great team, but not the star. In this example, he'd be the 3rd of a Big 3 with Embiid and Simmons. Fultz and Saric also have it in them to be key cogs on a great team though. I'm a really big Saric fan, and I have to believe that Fultz will figure it out enough to be a key contributor to their future.

I think if the 76ers are building for the long haul, they should stick with the kids, but if they see enough weakness in the top teams over the next year or two, this wouldn't be a bad move at all. At this point, I think they should continue to trust the process as it changes from "The Process" into what the Celtics have been doing the last few years.

Agree with Soxfan that Philly should pass. The only place I disagree is that we haven't even really seen what Fultz can do yet. He was playing with an injury that didn't allow him to shoot and given that it was that bad it probably affected his ability to drive, pass, defend, etc.

If i had not seen Sixers play a few times this year I'd have said this easily is a great trade for them. But they have a good thing coming together there and if Embid could stay on the court, they need to stay away from overhauling what looks to be a solid group.

Never in a million years would they do this trade. Keep dreaming. They should just change their name back to the bobcats.
