Blazers do this trade because they have a 2 yr window 2 win and they need a wing bad.

Bulls do it to roll the dice on simons and still have pick #7 and #25

How u figure porter is an alright player but 28 mil is a lot bulls free that money up can buy out turner now bulls got a lot of money and 2 first round picks but for portland they can't sign no one they have to trade to free money up to get a player.

Why would they need that cap space? They are rebuilding. They can easily get a better return for porter than that bag of balls.

It depends on how people value Simons. I think he's got the value of a early 20's first still. So that's two late firsts for Porter. I don't think that's terrible. He did have a really bad first 2/ 3 of last season. 14 games doesn't completely eliminate his decline overall last year.
