Here are a few trade ideas for the no 1 pick

New York:
Frank Ntilikina or Dennis Smith (whoever MN prefers)
no 8 pick
2021 1st from NY, top 3 protected and unprotected in 2022
Dallas's 2021 and 2023 1st round picks

NY gets 1st pick to draft Ball. MN gets future draft assets and would take a chance on a former top 10 drafted PG who could be an upgrade as a backup PG

Atlanta:
no 6 pick
Kevin Huerter
De'Andre Hunter

Atlanta gets to add local product Edwards to Young and Collins. MN gets a shooting wing to replace Beasley if he leaves and Hunter, who fits the type a player Rosas wants to play next to KAT

Phoenix
no 10 pick
2021 1st
Mikal Bridges
Elie Okobo

Phoenix takes Ball to pair with Booker and would look to trade Rubio. Bridges would fit nicely next to KAT and Okobo is probably an upgrade as a backup PG

Memphis
Tyus Jones
Dillon Brooks
Brandon Clarke
2021 1st

Memphis either takes Edwards to pair with Morant or Wiseman to pair with JJJ. MN gets two players in Brooks and Clarke, who should fit nicely next to KAT and Russell. Jones is the perfect backup PG to Russell

Obviously, other pieces would need to be added to make money work in some off these. But, overall, what do you think?

All three would be good trades for Minnesota. I don’t think New York would have to give up both the Dallas future picks.
