Hero would have to play PG for Spurs otherwise they don't need him. Personally, I think he would be a solution for their PG problem and would elevate their offense. Not sure if Popovich agrees though. As a Spurs fan, I like the deal.

Miami's 2025 1st in owed to OKC. Based on the protections, 2024 wouldn't be able to be traded because of the Stepien rule. 2025 might not convey until 2026, but won't know that until draft lottery 2025. All that, Miami only can trade 2028 & 2030, and swaps in 2024, 2027, & 2029. Unless they convince OKC to take protections off the 2025 pick.
