Jazz - Smart, 16th.


Thunder upgrade SG and grab a pick.

Celtics Get a bigman who can score.

Jazz get a point guard, and grab another pick to save cap.

Don't see Celtics giving up two firsts AND Smart for Kanter. I think they'd be better off with a defensive big man that can rebound and Kanter is a good rebounder but about as far away as you can get from a defensive big man. Also he has a large contract which will limit their ability to make a splash in free agency either this or next summer. Jazz should give up more. Celtics should get Jazz 12th pick then I think its a more fair trade but I still don't see Celtics wanting Kanter.

So the jazz give up Burks and the 23rd pick and in return get Smart and the 16th pick. Smart has atleast as much value (probably more) as Burks and and the 16th pick has more value then the 23rd pick (obviously) .

Burke was injured last year. People forget that he was a pretty good scorer/ shooter when playing. Something smart isn'good at.
