NO- Jalil Okafor, 2018 PHI 1st round pick (top 5 protected)


76ers get Evans and Butler who can play multiple positions allowing Brown to do what he wants with his lineup.

Bulls start their rebuild with a defensive PF and a top 5 pick (likely) this year with LAL pick and a pick next year from NO.

Pelicans get a C to allow Davis to play the 4 where he is more comfortable and a 1st round pick from PHI next year.

I doubt they would do Evans for Okafor straight up.

Why? Evans is a FA at the end of the year. Hield can step into the 2. Okafor is under control for 3 more years. He gives NO a very good front court to build around.

I think Chicago is getting enough back for butler. As a sixers fan, i would like to see the sixers get Holiday instead of evans since they're both on similar expiring contracts. maybe throw in holmes or second rounders if needed to sweeten the deal

Philly isn't adding anything with Okafor for Evans let alone a potentially high first.
