Bulls say no. Butler is more valuable than smart and crowder, maybe smart brown and one non nets pick (maybe that Memphis pick)

Might do that deal (Smart, Crowder, non-Nets No. 1) for Butler. Especially if the Celtics have an inkling that they can get Hayward this summer.

Butler
Hayward
Horford
Bradley
Thomas

would be an interesting small-ball lineup, especially with Brown off the bench and spot starting at the 2, 3 and (occasionally) 4. Move Olynyk and another non-Nets 1 for Vucevic, then add Fultz or Ball to the mix on draft night, and
you have a very interesting team in 2017-18.

Bulls have to dynamite their team for all that to happen, though, and that's a tough sell to the fan base.

C's fans still think they can get Butler without nets 17 eheheh
Crowder, Brown, nets 17 and you probably have to add Brad Stevens :)
Butler is playing like a superstar on a friendly contract +3 years and still 27 years old. If you think you can get him with a bench and a role player just wait to see sixers and lakers offers :)

Celtics, IMO, would be crazy to get rid of Smart or Crowder.
C's could beat a lot of teams going small but in the playoffs a small ball team will get beaten up by Cleveland and especially by a West team if they were lucky to meet one in the finals

Add a Brooklyn pick and a 1st from the C's and you might have a deal

Probably need to add Salary Filler as well as 2018 Brooklyn pick and maybe one of the 2019 1sts . but that as a framework of the deal seems feasible
