IMO it would be much easier to just sign Hayward and trade something for a rebounding center (Drummond, Whiteside or Jordan) .

Haywood can only be signed for 4 yrs unless it's a sign and trade.
You never know what Ainge will do. I'm not sure if Boston wants Haywood, all talks leads that way but that's all that is, talk.

I like the idea of Drummond, as well as a Butler through trades. Less expensive than a max signing. They could then give IT$ his max after next season if that's the way they want to go.
