Pacers Offseason:

Draft Night Trades-
1.) Thad Young and #47 pick to Detroit for 12th pick (Pistons said they would trade pick for win-now veteran)
2.) Jefferson, Ellis and 18 to Brooklyn for 2018 2nd rounder (trade just to get rid of contracts and nets said they would take on bad contracts for pick)

Draft Kennard at 18

Bring in Hayward and Griffin to try and sign on the idea of a big three that would dominate in the east.

Resign Teague if he takes a low salary or Miles, if Teague is too expensive. If Teague doesn't resign put Stephenson at point and bring in a vet pg for minimum contract.

If Pacers can pull this off they will be over the limit and have to pay luxury tax but they will have to if they want to stay competitive and keep George.

Lineup
Teague/Stephenson
George/Kennard
Hayward/Robinson III
Griffin/Allen
Turner/Seraphin

The 2nd is solid, but the 1st doesn't work.

Neither contract for Ellis and Jefferson are bad.

Ellis has 1 year left then PO for $12m for 18-19 (likely to out out.

Jefferson has 1 guaranteed year left then $10m non guaranteed for 18-19.

Will be a good trade chip come the deadline to a team looking to clear cap in 18-19.
