Why would the Suns do this? Monroe has an expiring deal that will give PHX lots more cap space. Shumpert has 3 years left at $10m per. So, PHX won't do a deal like this, if they have to take more than another expiring deal.

Shumpert is a good fit in Phoenix, but no way they do this. They want to hit the free agent market.

Maybe the suns do this if Cleveland gives them a swap option on the Nets pick with the Miami and Suns pick. And the Cleveland 2021 pick if they don't use the swap option.
