Pistons send Blake Griffin, receive Andrew Wiggins and the 11th pick

Minnesota receives DeRozan, sends Andrew Wiggins and the 11th pick.

DeRozan is low key a very good playmaker and thrived with opportunities as the lead. I think Minnie has the perfect amount of shooters and defense to put around him to create a really interesting line up.

4.? (Saric, I guess? )

If they’re able to fill the 4 hole, preferably with a defensive guy, this line up is huge and pretty spaced.

The Spurs role with the exciting young backcourt, but form an elite front court with who is IMO the most underrated player in the NBA today in Griffin. Get any production out of the 3 and you’re looking at a team in Western Conference contention.

The Pistons aren’t going anywhere, so Wiggins gives them a youngish guy (compared to Blake) who as the best player on the team you hope the quantity of reps improve him. Plus they get an extra lottery pick out of it to facilitate the rebuild.

You’d need the 11th pick just to take on Wiggins. You wouldn’t get anything of value back.
