Both trades are good for the Celtics but really bad for the other. Hayward as to be unloaded with at least two 1st rounders (look at the Crabbe deal) . So the value of Conley is just a late first? Common.

I don’t think the two would be linked. AD is viewed as a generational talent, the price on him was going to be astronomical. Beal is a nice guard, but no one is putting him near the top 10 players in the league, let alone a “generational” player.
