Raptors get Enes Kanter

Thunder get Terrence Ross and Patrick Patterson.

Way too much for Kanter. And what do the Raptors want with him? He's basically a poor man's Valanciunas and having both on the floor would open the hell gates of "no defence". Also, the Raptors are currently a winning team and I don't see much sense in trading away the player who is 3rd in the teams minutes per game. I think if they would trade for a big, they'd rather look for a guy like Bismack Biyombo, but now that Nogueira has been playing so good lately, I can't see this happening either.

When did Kanter gain value? Like when he played 3 minutes against the Warriors? Or had the worst +/ - on Wednesday? Where they lost against the Raptors? Where Patterson played 34 mins, had 13 points and a +18 overall? Speaking of plus minus: Kanter currently stands at -8.3 on court and -16.1 (! ) over replacement player per 100 poss. Not bad, much value.

Raptors have been shopping Ross for awhile and could use another big, I'm not sure Kanter is their man but this deal would be perfect for the Thunder. Rumor has it Raptors are trying to get Noel for a deal centered around Ross. Depending on what else Raptors add I can see a trade like that being much more mutually beneficial for both sides.
