Trade: Orlando Magic - Minnesota Timberwolves - Sacramento Kings

ORL get Rudy Gay (opts out)
MIN get Serge Ibaka (exp)
SAC get Ricky Rubio

Since Orlando is looking for another shooter, why not keep an eye on Rudy Gay? He wants out of Sacramento anyways and could play wing with Fournier, with Aaron Gordon switching to his more natural position at 4 and then probably Biyombo starting with him. In my opinion Ibaka would be perfect for Minnesota, too: A nice upgrade to Dieng, especially defensively, at PF and someone who actually can shoot from outside. He also should reduce a little the Timberwolves spacing problem. Sacramento on the other hand get the player they've shown interest in for a longer time now. Sure, Ricky Rubio likely has the least value on this one, but note that the other two simply could be gone after this season, while Rubio's contract lasts for 3 more years. Btw, the above is just the basic trade, as maybe players like Casspi (ORL? ), Mclemore (MIN? ) or Muhammad (SAC? ) could or should be involved.

Can't imagine Magic dealing Ibaka after they gave so much up to get him a few months ago. I do think Gay would be a nice fit and fill the scorer role that they said they have been in search of. Magic have been trying to move Vucevic so maybe he is the odd man out and he goes to Twolves (wouldnt be an awful fit)

Yeah, actually I was about to write "MIN gets either Ibaka, Vucevic or Biyombo", cause Vuc may be the one rather to be moved as he lost is starting spot. He and Towns might work, but I just think Ibaka would be the much better fit. And he simply could leave Orlando after this season too as his contract is expiring. I mean, he has had some good games, but I got the feeling it's not really clicking yet. And Vucevic certainly wouldn't bring the defense Minnesota needs and Thibodeau wants right now. Also, as his contract lasts 3 more years, he'd probably harder to move in such a scenario, as he likely would have the biggest value here.
