What I have learned is Wizards are over the cap if they keep Beal and hence they can only offer the league avarage (~9m p.a.) to a you RFA like Bryant. That means if a teams offers more, let`s up from 9,5m a year, Wizard CANNOT match! And Bryant can immediatelly sign elsewhere.

Hense Mavs 1. move should be to overpay him, because he is only 22 and a perfect fit for the future of Center, he can play in the paint, defense and behind the arc:

- Thomas Bryant ! 3+1y 60m!

Mavs can use the trade exception and will still have 7m left on it.

2. Offer Lee to Golden State (He can be a backup 1y with the disabled player option when they sign Thompson max).

3. Ask Suns to trade:
- Suns: Roby, 2 x 2nd
- Mavs: Jackson (scoring, wing defender on a rookie contract!)

4. and finally and first of all dependend on the Irving decision:
- S&T Walker 5y max or Russell

Both can shoot the lights out from everywhere. But Walker is more unique and more proofen, he can attack the rim but Russell has a ton of potention, is young and has size.

In another post someone was signing Kawhi at Dallas. If he really would consider the Mavs - go all in for him!

Letz´say the moves above are done and with Russell, Doncic, Jackson, Porzee and Bryant it is motivating enough for Kawhi to come to Dallas Mavs could make it happen by:
Toronto: Hardaway, Jackson, future 1st
Dallas: Kawhi.

It is a business where you try things to and play it out.

Missing math skills as well, 60m/ 4 year means an avarage of 15 and a starting salary of 13,5 million. Bryant is 21 years old big, that can dominate the rim, defend and shoot the 3. A potential prototyp of the future of the game! He is not a fully developed player and he needs to improve but in my point of view he will and hence Mavs can overpay him by 15m a year, if you look what other bigs get, 10 m he is worth in any case maybe more so in my point of view, because he is young, a good complement to Porzee and can shoot the 3 he is a great fit for Mavericks and if it fails, Mavs can let the 4th year option path away.

It is a smart move and if you only offer 10m another team may offer more and you lose out on Bryant.

I like the members that only cry and weep but I am not your psychologist that has to manage your depression.

Jackson makes almost 8 million yur going to pay a backup center 20 million Walker a max deal, Porzingis a max deal, doncic makes around 7 or 8 million just those 4 players would put u around 100 million. You ha e no draft picks because they've all been traded away how do u think yur going to fill a team? don't even get me started on yur bogus trades. Bu the fact you trade Roby and still have him on the mavs shows how much of a joke you are. Only player mavs have a chance at is Horford because they will over pay him. After that mavs are done with free agency.
