Seeing as Rose is potentially injuried. again. and Afflalo just went off for 38 pts and has been doing great. Knicks would say no chance.

Afflalo has been doing great? Sure he just had a 38 point game but what has he done the past four games before that? 4 points 9 points 4 points again 13 points. Averaging 13 pts 4 Rebs 1 assist. Decent numbers but to say he's been playing great? Hahaha no.

Rose's MRI showed no damage. Is questionable to play tomorrow and should be back within the week. Afflalo's one great game doesn't make up for the strand of subpar games he has had. I think this trade makes sense for both sides. Knicks get their big name PG to go with Melo and hope Rose can rejuvenate his career. Bulls get a PG now in Calderon, a PG they can groom in Grant, and an a better wing scorer i'm Afflalo.

Knicks
Rose/ Brooks
Galloway/ vujavic
Melo/ Thomas
Porz/ Williams/ Amundson
Lopez/ Seraphin/ O'Quinn

Bulls
Calderon/ Grant
Butler/ Afflalo/ Snell
Mirotic/ Dunleavy/ McDermott
Pau/ Portis
Noah/ Gibson.

Lol ok 'the king'. Seeing as he is the 3rd offensive option and As you said, he is averaging over 13 a game and 4 boards while shooting 48%. Seems rather good to me. But then again, this is coming from the lakers. Misery loves company. GO RANDLE!

In all seriousness, do you even have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd offensive option? I guess it's either Kobe. Who is averaging 17 on 34% shooting or clarkson, the pg who averages 1 assist a game. Or maybe your amazing stud prospects Russell and Randle who were so good they got demoted to role players. What a joke.

Yeah, let's just let the Bulls live with that horrible contract. They'll have plenty of money to sign a better pg in conelly this offseason, and all they need to give up is cap space.

No thanks on Rose, not that Afflalo's a star, but he contributes just as much as Rose would, is generally healthier, and the contracts much better.

Knicks chase Conley or Jennings in the off season instead of making this deal.

As a "great third option" he's not great. If you like at a great third option it's draymond green. Is afflalo even near his level? Nope. Kobe in the last 10 games has gotten his legs back and was shooting a respectable amount over 40% until his shoulder got hurt. Clarkson was averaging 1.5 assists early in the season because he was playing SHOOTING GUARD. Not POINT GUARD. Get that right. If you look at his past five games of him playing point guard with the lineup change he is averaging 4.5 assists. Respectable for point guards. Scott is a joke for not developing players. Even though Williams is playing better and nance jr (who I'm fine about starting because he is a rookie) is playing good. 11 points 10 Rebs 70% shooting for him. Not to bummed about Randle not starting.

Kobe is the first option Lou will second and clarkson third.

That is not respectable for a starting pg. Kobe is AWFUL. And everyone that fails to match up to the top 3rd option in the league isn't very good? Legitimately you have no one on your team that would be considered top 4 on the Warriors. So simmer down prince.

So the person who's name is pizza, decides to make fun of others people name. Real man aren't you. Sorry that i don't agree with your statement and you flip out over it. I'm pretty sure the Warriors wouldn't want your so called "top ten player in the leauge" who would ruin their chemistry and take not smart shots.

as I lakers fan I agree they're pretty bad, however, LA has brought 5 rings in the last 15 years so we're pretty spoiled. I'm sure they'll snatch up top tier talent form other teams like they have in the past and will back in the finals shortly.

HAHAHA, take not smart shots. Well played. Princess, what you need to realize is you did this exact same nonsense last year at this point. Once your team is AWFUL, you just rag on other teams. Misery loves company.

You can try and belittle the team as much as you want, let's do direct comparisons to realize why you are all salty.

Your number 2 pick. russell - relative let down
Our number 4 pick. Porzingis - well, you know

Your stud. Bryant - 17 a game on 34% ARE YOU KIDDING? And over the last 10 games he has shot 37%. A PER of 12
Our stud. Anthony - 21 a game, 42%, PER of 20.

Your team as a whole, awful, your prospects, awful, and who in the world wants to play there now? no one. Keep your saltiness to yourself. Afflalo. playing quite well for a aging vet, that a lot said was done. As a third option, on a very reasonable contract, yup. qualifies as rather great to me :) Sawwwwy princess.

Pizza you are so funny. Being a child and calling me "salty. " Only children say that. There your go making fun of my name again. I didn't make fun of the Knicks I was just disagreeing about how afflalo wasn't great. I didn't "rag on your team but you did to mine you actually brought it up. Real man. Knicks are Ina bad position with only porzingas and no draft picks so they will be bad in the future TOO. Go to school.

15.) 05 Jan 2016

To be fair, Porzingis has shown to be a rather incredible prospect, the knicks only owe one future 1st, and they are the best and most desireable team in a major market. The garden will always bring attention.

The lakers are in the unfortunate situation of having decent but not great propsects who appear to have maturity issues. Multiple 1sts owed. 4th best team in the California market. No desireable veterans to help market the team. Heck, they aren't even the best team in their arena. Fair to say, not an accurate analogy.

06 Jan 2016 05:31:33
Also Melo isn't 37 and coming off of THREE major injuries like Kobe. If Melo "cared" about winning he would've went to the Bulls.

Porzingas is a good prospect but not anything Knicks fans hype him to be. Yeah 13 pts 8rebs 2 blocks is good for a guy who played better than expected but saying you wouldn't trade him for cousins straight like suggested before, that's absurd. Porzingas has shot 40% from the field as a big man. Not good.

As for Russell, 19 year old guards don't come into the leauge tearing it up. Big men have it easier.

They are not the most desirable team a with a selfish so called star and only one prospect.
