Mavs need no trade an have the cap to sign 3 key FA to become a contender!

Sign FA Majo
- 15m/ 2+1y. He is best season was in Dallas. He can score behind the arc and from everywhere an is a good playmaker to run with Harris at PG.

Sign FA Teletovic
- 15m/ 2+1y. He is perfect to run with Nowitzki/ Teletovic at streched PF . He can win with Mavs, score behind the arc and in the paint and humble for Rebounds as well.

Sign FA Howard or Whiteside
- 100m/ 4y, superman return or Whiteside take max. Mavs would have 4 Starters and for bench Players to strech the court and with D12 or Whiteside the perfect inside weapon! Mejri and McGee are great backups.

Resign the own opted out crowd.

The Mavs somehow got the 6th seed this year. Carlisle seems to coach his team's to overachieve. This is an improved team with Howard (assuming he can stay healthy through the playoffs) and can be a dark horse for the 3rd or 4th seed depending on where Durwnt goes this offseason.

They still won't be good enough to win a championship, but they wouldn't be an automatic out in the 2nd rd either.

Indeed. It is not the one and only super team but a serious contender! With a very good bench.
