Makes sense. Good idea.

So basically boston has become super overpowered and cleveland has become a bit weaker but bulls got a nice deal

Shump is prob the best wing defender and liggins is a solid defender

Boston now has
a point gaurd whos in race for MVP
a sg who can light it up and defend just about anyone
a small forward who can lock up most players and light it up
a pf who can stretch the floor
a center who does everything

yep its official if boston gets that they are going to beat warriors.

CLE taking too much salary.

I like it for all parties value wise but salary wise it doesn't work unfortunately. Don't know the exact numbers but I think Boston is taking in 20 mill or so and so is the Cavs. Even with the Cavs trade exceptions they can't make it work for them and even adding Amir Johnson I don't think it works for the Celtics so adjusting is needed.

If the money works I actually like this deal for everyone.

No trade will work on a trade machine because Cav's are way over the payroll limit, that being said, Boston is not giving up all 3 (Smart-Crowder-Brown) plus 17 pick and 19 Mem pick for Butler, Shumpert and a rental. Doesn't make sense in the long run.

To me, at a glance it looks like Boston is giving up too much and Cleveland isn't giving up much at all.

Shumpert, Felder and liggins along with a late first and swap that will never convey seems a bit light to me.

I also think Boston would rather keep crowder then have shumpert and gibson. Neither guy to me has value much more then a 2nd rounder at this point.

Also, was bradley also traded, or do you have shumpert starting over him in your projected lineup?
