Magic: Smart, Morris, Nader and the LAC 2019 1st rd pick (lottery protected)

Celtics:Vucevic.

You are living in an alternate universe if you think that the Celtics would trade two rotation players and the LA pick for Vucevic. Maybe Morris OR Smart, but that's it.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 14:17:02
@Supercollider
It’s not the LAL pick, but the lottery protected LAC pick, which doesn’t have a ton of value. I’m a Celtics fan and would love this deal for the Celtics. It’s not a given that the Cs will sign Smart next year and Vucevic is signed for another year at a reasonable cost.

3.) 26 Jan 2018 15:03:16
I think it's equal value,
But Boston needs a better defender when they lose Smart And Orlando woud want a better draft pick for trading Vucevic.

4.) 26 Jan 2018 15:29:07
This is a tough one to get done Vucevic is a great option for Boston who could mostly use his Rebounding and his scoring touch also his defencive limitations will be hidden within their overall good team defence. But Boston like to win deals so theyed never offer a big package for him and not what Orlando would want anyways as Orlando would want young players or proven pieces which currently are part of Boston’s Big picture and Boston will probably try for the finals and address their weaknesses in the off-season after they see how they do in the playoffs.

5.) 26 Jan 2018 15:31:39
BHC -- My error.
But I still would not do that -- although I do like Vucevic. And I think the Celtics will keep all their draft picks so they can pounce in the unlikely event Davis wants out of New Orleans.

6.) 26 Jan 2018 17:23:31
Vucevic would be a good piece for Boston. Not overpaid, long term value. Pick is late, Smart will likely find a home somewhere else.

7.) 26 Jan 2018 19:58:01
I think Vucevic could play defense in the Boston system his points and rebounding could really help. Marcus Smart is a great defender and his offensive has improved not sure his salary price range next year .

Abdel Nader for Lucas Nogueira or Jakob Poeltl

Nader was D-League ROY last season and has some upside (so does Nogueira and to a lesser extent Poeltl), but the Cs need size and the Raptors have a surplus of bigs who all need time.

Celtics: Mundiay

Nuggets: Smart.

BHC

1.) 05 Aug 2017 20:41:04
Smart is much more valuable because of his defensive capabilities.

Terry Rozier for Willie Cauley Stein.

BHC

1.) 11 Feb 2017 10:53:59
I would rather send Smart, I think Rozier has a much higher upside on the offensive end. I think he is or will be a plus defender also. Just my opinion and I like WSC in Boston.

2.) 11 Feb 2017 13:44:23
@GRN
I agree that Rozier's upside is higher, but right now Smart is more valuable to the team. I don't think Cleveland is unbeatable. Therefore, if the Celtics can add a rebounder (not sure WCS is that guy, but I'd be willing to gamble that he can develop that skill playing under Stevens), maybe they can challenge the Cavs.

3.) 11 Feb 2017 17:18:11
It would take more than Rozier to get WCS. They both came out of the same draft, WCS was the 6th pick and Rozier was the 16th. The kings might hurt his career if they don't trade him because he does have lots of potential, too much to not be played as he should. Young and a 19 Mem or LAC pick might do it.

4.) 11 Feb 2017 18:12:20
I would send Rozier vice Smart because of future fit, but if they could do it for Young and a late future 1st, I'm all over that. Rozier is probably going to be moved, and has value. If they can get WCS and hold onto him to use in a future move that's the best of both worlds.

5.) 11 Feb 2017 23:33:48
Wcs is more valuable than rozier Celtics don't even play him, smart for wcs is great I'll take that n rozier can jump in to that back up spot.

6.) 12 Feb 2017 04:45:40
Boston is playing Rozier, where have you been? Smart would not be offered in a WCS trade. Rozier, Young and a 19 1st rd. for WCS.

Avery Bradley for Andrew Wiggins straight up.

Sixers: Nets 2018 pick, fillers (any combination of James Young, RJ Hunter, Jonas Jerebko, Ben Bentil. or even all of them, should Philly want it)

Celtics: Okafor.

BHC

1.) 20 Oct 2016 16:42:40
I personally don't even think that starts the conversation on Okafor from a Philly standpoint. Might start conversations about Noel but not Okafor.

2.) 21 Oct 2016 17:33:40
Boston has made it clear it wants a top-15 player for either of the Nets picks. Okafor is barely top 15 in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.

21 Jul 2016 01:48:30
Celtics sign Larry Sanders and contend.

That's it.

BHC

1.) 21 Jul 2016 02:02:37
What if they renounce their rights to Tyler Zeller and then sign Jr Smith to add shooting and fill the hole at backup shooting guard?

2.) 22 Jul 2016 11:27:22
Why not go with McGee?

If the Celtics trade Smart, and I really think they will, it won’t be to Cleveland.

Your final offer is based on what they already got, not in the value you’re sending them?

Some trader!

The 3rd trade is terrible for the Bucks and wouldn’t happen, but I can see the first two going down, and here’s why: the Griffin trade has shown us that the LAC are bad at trades and the Kings, well, are the Kings.
