Bulls are still talking with the C's about a Butler deal, also there is deep interest by the C's for PJ Tucker.
If the Bulls do trade Butler they will be in full rebuild mode which makes me believe that maybe the Bulls will trade Butler to the C's if they also take Lopez. So there could be a big shake up for the C's if these rumors come to fruition.

I could just as easily see them take back Chandler with Tucker.

Bos rec:
Chandler
Tucker

Pho rec:
Zeller
Jerebko
Pick a non Nets 1st, or possibly (2) 2nds since Boston is taking Chandler back. Which is a need and would be a solid pick up.

I don't think Boston should do it. They should:
1. Trade for a better Center
2. Trade for a backup wing who can shoot.

I'm beginning to think these butler rumours are smoke and mirrors, Chicago won't ever trade him, as he fills seats.

Celtics have been looking for a star for the past 3 years and are running out of time with two of the biggest bargain contracts in the league (IT and Bradley) nearing their end summer 2018. I think Butler would make a ton of sense as an experienced, two-way player but Celtics could also use more natural center that can rebound defend like Lopez.

Celtics definitely have the ammunition to make it happen even possibly without the Brooklyn 2017 if they include Bradley, 2018 pick and some other pieces. However I could also understand Boston not wanting to shake things up this late and just do smaller trades going into this offseason where they can try trades during draft or during FA.

I think the issue is on Bulls side as that front office is a mess. Most of those guys are more concerned about keeping their job and dealing a superstar wouldn't really help that. Bulls are in no real rush to deal Butler especially if reports are true that Boston doesn't want to give up Brooklyn 2017 pick.

That should be what they are going for but if not I'd wait until offseason or early next season when Bradley's trade value will be lower due to his upcoming FA, more time to scout the 2018 draft class (although at moment looks like a lot of bigs) and they can take a stab at free agents which most likely won't yield anything of value but if they could miraculously get someone good then no need to deal Butler.

MyTurner33. I would love to see just that move. But adding Butler would make it even more sweeter.

Hamburger will dissect them all and give his version why they're all bums.
