76ers/Hawks

Sixers off to a very good start of the off season.

1. Drafted Fultz
2. Brought Korkmaz over
3. Signed Redick(one year deal is awesome, had cap to burn and weren't getting any superstar fa's. Great move).
4. Signed vet pf(would have preferred patterson, but Amir johnson on a one year deal is fine).
5. Let Henderson and Rodriguez go. Actually got a 2nd rounder for Long(who i suggested they just cut).
6. Used later picks for Euro stashes.
Hmmm. Thus list looks familiar.

Anyway, still need to try and unload Okafor. How about...

Sixers get: Twolves 2018 #1 (protected 1-14) via Hawks.
Hawks get: Okafor, Knicks 2018 #2.

They almost did a sign and trade for Amir Johnson to dump Okafor. I assumed they could get a protected 1st out of him, but I'm starting to think a few seconds or a Euro stash might be more realistic.

Still a lotto team Simmons and embiid will probably play combined 42 games fultz is another guy from a loser team like Simmons and okafor is a joke, philly is a joke.

Jvoug1 you used the right word in your proposal, "unload". Other team's decision makers value Okafor the same as you. as an "unload". Why would anybody give a 1st rd. pick for an "unload" or reject from another team that won 28 games?

Madeindade, Philly is putting together a nice team and if healthy will have a solid chance to make the playoffs. Without Simmons, Fultz, and Reddick, when Embiid was healthy they looked like a team that had a shot to make the playoffs. Obviously, the team is super young and things could go either way, but the future looks bright.

Johnson can start on this team if Embiid goes down. Also reddick can carry the offense when things slow down a little in the half court. This could be a scary team if they stay healthy.
