Draft night James traded for Deng ball and Hart plus 2first rounders.

Lakers then sign George and Paul. Plus Noel.

Cavs can have plenty options but I would resign Hood. Buy out Korver Thompson hill and Smith. Trade pick 8 and love for pick 1 and Parsons Chandler and draft Ayton.

The Cavs aren't going to get that from LA. They can shop Deng to anyone and someone would take him with 2 1sts or Ball attached. They might be able to get off Deng cheaper than that since he would only have 2 years left.
It's hard to imagine the Cavs and Lakers making a deal for Lebron. If he went to Houston, the Cavs might get a package just shy of that.

I also don't think they should buy out Hill, Korver and maybe not Smith. They could shop those contracts like expirings. Thompson will have 2 years left. He can't be bought out.

Why would Lakers trade for a guy they can sign? That is way to much to drop Dengs contract. They can stretch him and save cap space.

Lbj signing straight out with a team is fair because his contract is expired. Maybe some token gesture like with the Celtics and jazz with Hayward but trading away the team he is going to is bad for winning.
