LAL/MIA

LAL get Hassan Whiteside

MIA get Luol Deng, Thomas Bryant & 47th pick 2018 & 2nd rd pick 2020

LAL will still have enough room to sign PG to max

sign Paul George 2yr max with P.O

resign Isaiah Thomas 2 yr with team option (12mil per) to prove himself

resign Julius Randle
sign a veteran back PF or SG

Pg Ball/Thomas/Ennis
Sg Ingram/Hart/vet
Sf George/Wear/vet FA
Pf Kuzma/Randle
Ce Whiteside/Zubac

i don't think LA can get 2 superstars in the offseason, they take a chance at Whiteside to play center, i think MIA could jump into that offer, if its not enough, LA can send a future protected 1st. Whiteside can be a trading piece also the year after as an expiring contract (2020). Thomas has his chance to prove himself, i think no one desperate enough can offer him more money in the offseason. I think these are realistic moves for LA

1.) 17 May 2018 01:49:22
Miami can do better than that crap. Why would PG sign only a 2 year max deal? Even with the player option.

2.) 17 May 2018 02:05:57
Miami gets off Whiteside. That deal is pretty solid for them.

3.) 17 May 2018 02:51:02
Laker haters would love to see whiteside in yellow and gold. Miami is looking to shed salary. Expiring deals for whiteside are what's up probably. Paying Thomas too would thrill Celtics fans. Not worth more than what Lou williams just signed for. Williams is better too.

4.) 17 May 2018 05:31:16
Purple and gold.

NYK/BKN

NYK get D'Angelo Russell & 29th pick
- draft Jerome Robinson (SG)
- sign Aaron Gordon to max

Pg Russell/Mudiay/Burke
Sg Lee/Robinson/Dotson
Sf Hardaway/Thomas
Pf Gordon/Beasley/Oquinn
Ce Porzingis/Kanter

BKN get Frank Nkitilina, Joakim Noah & 9th pick

-draft Mikal Bridges

Pg Nkitilina/Dinwiddie/Lin
Sg Crabbe/LeVert
Sf Carroll/RHJ
Pf Bridges/Cunningham/Acy
Ce Allen/Noah/Mozgov

1.) 16 May 2018 12:51:38
I Like this trade for the Nets, but do they have enough caproom to take Noah's contract?

2.) 16 May 2018 14:21:01
No way the Nets take on Noah and Mozgovs contracts. worst contracts in the NBA behind Deng.

3.) 16 May 2018 15:07:50
Nets have tons of cap but I'd bet Lin or Dinwiddie or both would be shopped. Lin expires, could be something to be had there.

16 May 2018 12:06:39
CHA/MIL

CHA get Eric Bledsoe, John Henson, Matthew Dellavedova & 17th pick

draft Miles Bridges & Khyri Thomas

Pg Bledsoe/Delly/Thomas
Sg Batum/Monk
Sf Bridges/Mkg/Lamb
Pf Williams/Kaminsky
Ce Henson/Hernangomez/Zeller

MIL get Kemba Walker & Dwight Howard

Pg Walker//Jennings
Sg Middleton/Snell
Sf Giannis/Muhammad
Pf Parker/Maker
Ce Howard/Zeller

1.) 16 May 2018 14:22:22
The Bucks team looks better on paper, but Howard will ruin any kind of chemistry for that team. not worth it.

2.) 16 May 2018 15:20:28
Good move for both teams. Howard rebounds, and protects the paint still, expires too if it doesn't work out. Maker can fill henson's shoes like he did in playoffs. So far Bucks played Celtics the toughest in the postseason this could be a solid play other than Bledsoe is a better defender than kw, and Rozier worked Bledsoe over in the 1st round pretty good. Hornets get a pick for a rebuild, and trade pieces.

16 May 2018 09:18:01
ATL/CHA

ATL get 11th & Kemba

CHA get Shroeder & 3rd

1.) 16 May 2018 12:31:52
Hawks are rebuilding. I can't see them giving up 3 for Kemba if he isn't extended.

2.) 16 May 2018 15:24:23
Hawks keep their 3rd pick, but turning around and dealing walker is an interesting idea for another pick or picks at deadline. It's a fair deal for walker all in all.

3.) 17 May 2018 05:43:47
Make it a 3 way deal with the knicks. Knicks get Kemba and 19th (from Hawks) . Hawks get 9th (from NYK), 11th (from CHA), and ntilikina.

ORL/BOS

ORL get Kyrie Irving

BOS get 6th pick, Vucevic

1.) 18 May 2018 05:37:12
I like Irving, I think he is worth more and I think the Celtics are not looking to deal him.

2.) 18 May 2018 15:51:30
Danny Ainge has draft picks oozing out of his nose and both ears. He doesn't need any more of them. Boston is in win-now mode, and if any draft picks are involved, they will be headed out of Boston.

18 May 2018 02:15:25
BOS/NYK

BOS get Porzingis

NYK get Irving

1.) 18 May 2018 05:37:49
Heard a rumor Irving could end up a knick someday.

2.) 18 May 2018 15:54:19
Only way Irving leaves Boston is if he shoots his way out of town, like he did in Cleveland. He seems happy in Boston, for now anyway. As for Porzingis, he may not play at all this coming season.

LAL offseason, just want to ask if this is possible

LAL/OKC

LAL get Paul George (s&t)

OKC get Caldwell-Pope (s&t)

If PG leaves OKC will have a hard time signing free agents maybe a sign and trade will help both teams

LAL/NOLA

LAL get Demarcus Cousins (s&t)

NOLA get Brook Lopez (s&t) & 2nd round pick

same explanation as above, Lopez can be a good fit in big man rotation of Pelicans

LAL resign Julius Randle and Isaiah Thomas (shorter deal for Thomas to prove himself first, i think he is a good friend of Demarcus?)

Here's my question, if sign and trade works? they don't need to shed Deng's salary to create space and sign players outright?

LAL 2018-19 roster

Pg Ball/Thomas/Ennis
Sg Ingram/Hart
Sf George/Wear/Deng
Pf Randle/Kuzma
Ce Cousins/Zubac/Bryant

1.) 18 May 2018 04:23:16
You'd be forced to make salaries match if you have a trade that takes you over the soft cap like any other trade and that would include any cap holds like Randle. The only way it could possibly make a difference is if KCP or Lopez were near max players. I don't see the Pelicans or Thunder wanting those guys enough to give them anything near the max.

2.) 18 May 2018 04:33:37
Thanks for the input. How about Lakers send Ingram and Deng to OKC or NOLA then sign one of their stars? resign KCP Randle and Thomas, will it work?

3.) 18 May 2018 06:01:51
After a pretty lazy google search I couldn't find George or Cousins's max this offseason, but I assume they're around 30 million or possibly a little shy of that (the larger maxes are connected to bird rights and the team that drafted a player) . That would give the Lakers around another 30 million to spend. They could probably make that work as long as KCP or Randle don't end up with a larger than expected offer by someone else.

Also, It doesn't have to be a trade with OKC or NO. They could send Ingram and Deng anywhere with the cap space to take them.

4.) 18 May 2018 07:11:17
All that saying is Lakers would be hesitant to attach Ingram in a Deng deal. It could be hard to unload Deng without giving up values yes, but i think Ingram is too much of a price. I can see a special talent in Ingram that someday could be like a Paul George.

16 May 2018 01:26:50
So the Kings get #2 pick, they can draft Luca Doncic to be their franchise cornerstone.

1.) 16 May 2018 05:52:10
Igor Koskov will push for luka doncic. Ayton gets really bad scouting reports defensively. Say he looks disinterested in playing defense of any kind. Being pushed by the media a lot too. Makes me wonder. Scouting says bagley is the better choice all around other than size. All agree doncic is fantastic. I don't know for sure, other than ayton was non-existent in the 1 tourney game, and bagley played pretty good in many.

2.) 17 May 2018 23:30:38
Still trying to get used to an NBA coach being named Igor.

12 May 2018 03:08:24
Do you guys think that Capela is only good because of Harden and Paul? Is it a nice idea for other teams to give him max?

1.) Then who do the raptors
Look to turn themselves around

2.) 12 May 2018 16:50:41
A merry-go-round.

3.) 12 May 2018 19:53:05
Capela took it to Gobert. No one has played Gobert that well all season. His offense might dip a little on a team with poor facilitators but Capela is a talented player.

While Kemba is very good, Lakers won't do it.

Lakers get an all nba player who is also a choker in the playoffs. Yes lakers should not trade more young pieces they should trust the process as well.

ATL can actually beat that team in some games

I'll put Vucevic higher, maybe around number 9

I'd say Markieff to at least top 15

Jimmy Butler all over Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis all over Curry as long as Pelicans could make playoffs (doubt)
