The Kawhi trade that will actually happen.

Sixers get: Kawhi, Gasol (owed $32.8 million over next two years)

Spurs get: Covington, Chandler, Holmes, TLC, 2019 unprotected#1, Heat 2021 unprotected #1, 2019 Bulls 2nd, 2019 Kings 2nd.

Sixers get the star wing the need and a backup center.
Spurs get to dump Gasols nearly $33 million, get a lockdown First team all NBA defender in Covington, get a forward in Chandler that has an expiring contract and still can contribute positive vet minutes, two young athletic players in TLC and Holmes that have no guaranteed contracts, and 4 draft picks, two unprotected first Rd picks and two likely very high second Rd picks. Spurs open up a lot of cap space for 2019 as well.

Covington, Saric and the picks seems like a possibility. If spurs drop the 3 1sts demand. Gasol's deal is only guaranteed for 6 or 7 mil year after next.

I think SA would want Saric (he just seems like a Spurs kind of player) in place of Holmes or TLC. But, the structure is believable.

I would be more interest in Pau Gasol to add to the sixers then I would Kawhi. Gasol is a championship player that could help this young core grow. How about Pau Gasol and Danny Green for Wilson Chandler TLC Richaun Holmes and throw in a second round pick or 2 since we got like 50. You keep the core of Simmons Fultz Saric Covington and Embiid with young guys Smith Korkmaz Bolden TJ Shamet on bench with veteran Green Gasol JJ Johnson Belijca. Cap space summer of 2019 with Green JJ Johnson Anderson Bayless coming off books.
