Deng and a first for Chandler. It's going to be a deadline Trade. So suns pay Deng 18 a year and receive a first something like Hawks did with melo.

First, Suns do not like dealing with the Lakers. They have in the past but rarely. Second, no one wants Deng and PHX is in that group. no thanks. Third, yeah, they'll move Chandler but not to LA and not in a deal like this. Lastly, the oft times delusional PHX mgt wants nothing to do with the Ball Circus.

Deng. Is. Awful.

The lakers are in a horrible position, they clearly need to unload the contract. They need to to have the cap space for another max, and every team knows that. If the lakers don't give up one of the 3 youngsters (hart has done nothing), no one will take Deng. Especially not for a 1st that is super late.

So you telling me by the trade deadline when Deng is owed about 26 more mil no team would take a first and immediately buy him out. Like the Hawks did with melo. But instead of cap space there trading an expiring contract in Chandler and about 17 will go to there cap next year or another team like Hawks, Cavs, magic, orKings would do this for an expiring contract.

ll, , Atlanta was dumping a big contract as well. It’s going to cost more than a late first to get rid of Deng. Look at what the nuggets had to give up to dump Faried.

And Faried only has a year left at 14 million.

With Arthur so that's about equal to what Deng will be owed by trade deadline. so on draft night when Deng is owed 18 and teams have Lots of cap Lakers give 2019 first and 2019 second for cap relief to atl, Kings, mavs or even Knicks maybe the Suns or trade Cavs at deadline hill for Deng and 2019 first and second unprotected. Sure it wouldn't take another player. Lakers just got to be patient like they are.

Funny thing is, haven't read, heard, or seen CLEVE, SAC, , ORL, or any other team jumping at taking on Deng for "an expiring contract". Lakers are stuck with him and they need to buy him out. Not many would want to help them out anyway.

II, the $26M like Melo’s isn’t the point. Melo’s $26M was THIS year’s salary only. He is off the books at the end of the year. Buying out Deng now leaves money on the books for this year and NEXT. Offseason is the earliest they have a chance of dealing him.

On top of all this, DENG isn't PLAYABLE. He is literally worthless basketball-wise, so why would any team take him for a late late 1st? its ridiculous.

You can't point to trades and leave out major points, such as melo being a 1 year contract.
