Raptors and Cavs.

Raptors trade Ibaka and Powell and first round pick

Cavs trade Love.

Cavs then waive Ibaka and get 20 mill off the books for next seasons free agents. and a good SG off the bench.

Raptors get a 3 point monster and rebounder they need desperately.

slide siakim to the 3 spot and have love and gasol. with Possible OG and or freddy with lowry in the starting lineup.

OG or freddy off the bench with davis and RHJ and Thomas.

Think for that package Toronto gets Clarkson in addition and will have a shooter that is missing. Love and Clarkson are not so strong on defense but the TOR grid is already.

Love can't play the kind of defense Nurse demands and Masai won't tie up 2021 max free agent cash unless its for a genuine max free agent.

I honestly don't think raps need love. That's almost, what, 50 mil invested in bigs (Love and Gasol) plus Siakam's extension next year.

I feel if the Raptors landed Love in this trade and resigned Gasol for a cheap 10 to 15 mil next season we can stay competitive until 21/ 22. when big name free agents are available. like the greek freak.

either way gasol off the books siakim and lowry are the only large contracts. freddy's due for a raise but probably around the 10 mil mark.
lowry will be cheap after next season. and then you'll have 2 max guys and space for vets like lowry and gasol to come back and possible win again if a guy like the Greek freak comes.
