It’s a fine return for George, but it likely pushes Leonard out the door. I can’t see him resigning to play with a 37 year old Paul and a second year player (unless that player looks like a superstar right out the gates) .

Bmiller said it perfectly. I’ve pondered this trade too, but it’s championship or bust for the Clippers this season and even if they do win a chip, it’s doubtful that Kawhi would stay to play with an old CP3 and a second year player. Plus the trade makes the Warriors a lot scarier. Clips have to pass.
