Lonzo Ball (NOP) for Marcus Smart (BOS).

Lateral trades can help teams if it’s better fits.

Lonzo gives the Celtics a true playmaker finally while not losing a step on defense much

Pels gets arguably the best perimeter defender at the position they really struggled at. This allows Bledsoe to play his natural position or give Lewis the nod as starting PG since he’s a better spacer than Bledsoe.

I get it, but I'd rather Boston keep Smart over Ball. Just my preference.
