Why would suns trade for nurkic when he's gonna want between 20-25 million a year? Might as well keep ayton at 29-30. Suns do t feel a center is that important.

I like the Wolves-Clippers trade
Powell and Morris are usefull rollplayers and Russell would be great next to PG13 and Leonard.

You are insane to think Nurkic is getting $20-25M this off-season when only like 4 teams have the cap space to sign him to that. It’s gonna be closer to $12-18M starting salary and Ayton’s max starts at $30M. I agree you may rather just wanna sign him to the max but

1)they had a chance to give him the max last season after making the finals and passed
2) there seems to be some tension between Ayton and Monty/ Booker
Not saying he’s definitely leaving Phoenix but if he is disgruntled and wants out, getting a cheaper starting center in Nurkic plus a 3 and D guy in Josh Hart who averaged 20/ 5/ 4 on 50/ 37/ 77 splits in 13 games for Portland, seems like a great option to consider.

Actually to be fair, S&T salaries are prorated 50% so Ayton for Hart straight up will probably work. Just the Phoenix will want a lot more (Sharpe? ) .
