HAWKS get Pascal Siakam and 26th pick

RAPTORS get Dejounte Murray, Jalen Smith and 15th pick

PACERS get John Collins

You must be a raptors fan? Why would the Hawks swap the better of 1st rd pick and 2 starters for Pascal Siakim? Why would we add Murray? I do see Siakim as a upgrade over Collins but not to add in Murray who is a legit 20 pts a night and a 2 player way scorer and elite defender. Why would the Pacers take on 60 million more in Collins salary for an extra 6 points a night they would get from Collins?

I think right now Siakam is huge upgrade over Collins. Hawks going nowhere with this team who's becoming very expensive. They're trying to move Collins long time. Collins is almost a negative asset but maybe with a change of scenary he can regain his previous form. Pacers need PF and have a cap space. Maybe picks are too much. You are right that the Pacers are the likeleast ones to refuse this deal.

@Z-Pau. I think Siakam is a HUGE expense that Atlanta really can not afford as well as entering his final year of his contract so he would have to be resigned (at a higher $$$ amount) .

Collins problem is Capela. Collins has to be next to Trae on the pick and roll to gain his rhythm. He was a 20&10 guy before Capela. A center like Myles Turner spreads the floor so Collins can get back to his form & rhythm. Now he is floating around out of rhythm. He has never been a good 3pt shooter. He can shoot 2/ 5 if he already has gotten into rhythm when he already has 15 easy pts around the paint.
