I would rather see the C's sign his brother Pau for 2 years. Use Amir for a bigger trade, like to include him in a Butler trade if they were to sign Pau.

Why would you trade your franchise players for two players who don't equal what he brings ti the game combined. Bad deal. Who would be that dumb.

Marc Gasol is one of the best bigs in the league and if Grizzlies keep him they have a decent shot at resigning Conley. Not only does this trade give Gasol up for pennies but eliminates their chances at keeping Conley. Two late 1sts a solid role player and promising prospect isn't enough for someone of Gasols caliber. #3 would definitely have to be part of the deal as Grizzlies would need a major overhaul after losing Gasol and Conley.

Grizzlies don't have a hope in hell of competing with their now ineffective core of Conley, Z-Bo and Marc. I personally think there's already no chance that Conley resigns, meaning that keeping Marc is completely redundant. There's no way that Marc is worth the 3rd pick since he's coming off a big injury. Trading him for 3 late lottery picks and a salary dump is a good deal.
