I think for offensive sake they can't afford to start another traditional big man in addition to Thompson. They need someone who can stretch the floor to 3pt line like Love to make room for other guys. If this trade happened I'd start Frye over Thompson and bring his energy off the bench. However I think Cavs would be better off keeping Love. I think if Cavs wanted to trade Love they'd be best off trading him for two solid sf/ pf types like say Galo and Chandler on Nuggets. I also, think they need to add another big body ideally defensive minded center since Kaun is gone and Anderson is old. This player doesn't have to be particularly good but i think they need another body for spurts during season.

Honestly, I'd rather cut the cavs out and take Lopez. I think aminu and Lopez is a better PF/ C duo than love and ezeli.

I don't like this trade for the blazers. The blazers give up so much for a good player, but he isn't great at defense. I feel it would be a big risk, and I think the blazer are just going to wait it out with their youth. but it would help with the low post log jam and making them contenders quicker.
