Knicks finally deal Melo:

Clippers get : Melo, Baker, Ndour
Knicks get: Rivers, Crawford, Brice Johnson, Clippers 2017 first unprotected

I don't think I need to explain why Clippers do it. I think Knicks and Melo are finally realizing it won't work out together and its best both go separate ways. I think this is best they can hope to get since I don't see Cavs shaking up things this late and Love is a better fit not being as ball dominate and providing passing and rebounding at a high level.

I also think Melo would have a cancerous effect on a young Lakers team. Clippers make a ton of sense but I don't think they'd want to deal their big 3 to make it happen so they have limited assets. Clippers definitely are big winners of this trade but I think Knicks need to begin the Porzingis chapter and should take whatever they can get for Melo.

This is a joke, not even a thought given by the knicks.

You cannot construct a trade in which a team taking Anthony wins the deal.

I think Toronto owns the Clippers pick.

i'm not sure NY would get a better offer and they should trade melo, but i don't think they're going to give him for free

Toronto has the Clippers pick. I know that because we (the Bucks) traded it for Grevies Vasquez :(((((

Melo has not realized it's not working, he just yesterday reiterated that he won't waive his no trade clause.

I wish he would, but it's unfortunately not going to happen.
