The Heat get Jimmy Butler and Shumpert

The Bucks get Dragic

The Bulls get Mcroberts (waive), Winslow, Maker, Richardson, and a 1st from the Bucks and Heat.

The Cavs get Henson

Miami waives Bosh and goes after Chris Paul.

Not a freaking chance are the bucks trading maker for dragic, let alone their first too. Do your research.

A midlevel first round pick, a player with a ton of potential but isn't any where near making an impact, and a marginal role player seems pretty cheap for a borderline allstar. Dragic could help the Bucks break into the top teams in the East.

Isn't anywhere near making an impact? It's obvious you have not watched a single buck game.

Maker averaged 4.1 points and 1.7 boards in March for a team who was missing their starting PF.

The biggest issue I see with this trade is Bulls giving up Butler for that. The value in that return is distributed among too many players to have a significant impact. If I'm dealing a star I'd prefer to have one clear gem in my return.

Although that price I think is fair for Dragic who has played very well the 2nd half of this year I don't think he is a particularly great fit with the Bucks from an age, role and fit point of view. Although he can play off the ball w/ Giannis, I don't think he is at his best in that role.

I agree that the package isn't ideal jaw457, but there seems to be more sellers than buyers right now. The Celtics are dragging their feet, the Lakers are looking at George, the Twolves core is still to young to gamble one of their top players for Butler, and the rest of the league is either rebuilding or doesn't have much of value outside of their core players. I think the Cousins trade was a sign of how few buyers are out there. Unless Boston makes a big offer I don't see a lot great of options for the Bulls.

I also agree that Dragic isn't a great fit, but the Bucks aren't going to have much luck getting free agents. In the current market everyone is over paying and Milwaukee isn't much of a draw. Age is probably the biggest draw back, but Dragic hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, he can play both guard spots, he's a solid shooter which is needed around Giannis, if things don't work out he probably won't lose much value on the open market, the team is already pretty good even with terrible injury luck, and they showed they want a pg last offseason by giving Delly a huge contract.

That was my thinking behind everything.

Bucks have Brogdan, who they drafted as a SG, But has been playing better as a PG. He moved Delladedova to the 2nd string bench. They have also just signed Gary Payton ll as an additional PG. They don't need an aging Dragic! Send Henson (PF) to Phoenix for Knight (PG/ SG) Send Vaughn to the D-League. Maker isn't going anywhere. Milwaukee should consider trading J. Parker. I would try and send him to the L. A. Lakers, for B. Ingram! The Lakers need a "go-to-guy" which Parker is when healthy, Ingram is not going to be that guy. Both have had knee issues, and as of this date, both salaries match. Throw Vaughn or Terry or Teletovic in with the deal? Maker, at C. Giannis A. at PF, Ingram at SF, Move Middleton back to SG, and M Brogdan at PG.
