76ers get: G Josh Hart (rookie deal), F Luol Deng (three years, $54M remaining), future protected 1st (Lakers)

Lakers open up 2018 cap space for a small price. The Bulls move Mirotic, who won't play a game for them, while getting Chicago native Jahlil Okafor. 76ers move Okafor, who must be moved, for a prospect in Hart, while taking on Deng's deal in exchange for a pick and dumping Bayless lessens the blow of Deng.

The 76ers are past the point of taking on bad contracts. They're ready to spend on free agents that can help and that's not enough to get rid of Deng anyway.

Think Deng will help the sixers especially with leadership. But a prospect plus a future pick from a already lottery team is worth it. Just top seven protected.

Sixers say no to this deal instantly. Not a chance they take back Deng and his 3 yr/ 54million dollar anchor.

Sixers have 3 guards currently out. (Stauskas, Bayless, and Fultz) It would be wise to trade for a guard. Milwaukee has 1-2 they would trade as they now have more than they need, with the addition of Bledsoe. Milwaukee can trade Vaughn or Dellavedova plus a 2nd rd pick to the Sixers for Okafor. The Bucks need a Center, Philly needs a Guard. Would work for both teams.

But they still have enough guards (McConnell, Simmons, Redick, TLC, Korkmaz) . There's no need for a trade.
