Cle-Okc
This postseason for Kevin Love has dropped his value tremendously and it seems like Cavs players and fans want him out bc he has not been playing as well as he should and all the injuries. Thunder want melo out.
Okc:Melo abrines and Singler
Cle: Love and Clarkson
Why the thunder do it it’s a great way to get melo out amaybe get Kevin love to a better environment especially with his old teammate Russ. And Clarkson can play the 1 or 2 and trading abrines gives him much more playing time.
Why the cbs do this: the Cavs do this to get out of the long term money in love and to try to throw up one last trick to get lebron to stay with Cleveland has he has always want to play with melo. They give up Clarkson for salary purposes which I think they will gladly give up bc he hasn’t played well at all for Cleveland especially in the playoffs.

Melo sucks. No way LBJ stays just to play with him.

Love is just so underappreciated. Playing PF next to Lebron has always been hard (look at Bosh's numbers in Miami) . Love is still considerably better than Melo in every way. Let's not forget that Love was an all star the last two seasons, it's not like he's fallen off that much overall.

Melo is old and has lost a step and his D is lousy but he had little to do with thunder playoff loss when oladipo and sabonis were there. Thunder problems are deeper rooted. If cavs want to shortcut a rebuild love for melo swap is good for both teams. Thunder need a power forward desperately.

The Thunder are stuck with Anthony.
Bad contract, bad game, bad attitude.
Sam Presti made a terrible mistake trading for him last summer, paid for it this season and will pay for it again this coming season.
No team will take him.

Love is younger, paid less, has a better attitude, makes less, is the better scorer, better rebounder, actually tries on defense, doesn't isolate constantly, can play the 5, and is the better shooter. There is absolutely no reason for the Cavs to trade Love for Melo. In fact, the Cavs shouldn't trade JR Smith and Tristan Thompson for Melo.

Ok yeah but at this point in lebrons career he’s accomplished everything he possibly can and he still has interest in playing with melo he’s wanted to his whole career.

Well after next year, if Melo is willing to wear a suit to most games and get paid the minimum, that could happen.

Someone will take melo if the thunder take on bad contracts that are multi year contracts almost all the nba is in debt and teams are trying to get out of our by trading 1st round picks with bad contracts or giving multi year bad co tracts for a 1 year bad contract.

Replying to Bmiler yeah love is under appreciated but he’s been inconsistent this postseason with having good scoring games and while he’s in Cleveland or anyone is in Cleveland besides Lebron James no ones playing like the usuallly look st Jordan Clarkson George hill and Rodney Hood they were having great seasons until the game to Cleveland and d Wade crowder we’re having terrible seasons until they went to their new teams even Isaiah Thomas played much better until he got hurt even rose was making an impact on the wolves team. The whole point of this trade for Cleveland wasn’t to gain a ton of picks but loose a ton of salary for down the road so they can be one of those teams that can offer good young free agents to build around who ever the choose at pick 8.
