Lakers will dump deng and an asset eventually but not to take back a salary like knights.

I believe knight is guranteed about $14 mill this year and $15.6mill the following year. Deng is guranteed $18 mill this year and $18.8 mill the following year. That only clears $3.2 mill off the books for LA. Don't see why they do this?

LeBron James wins this trade. Hands down. He rids himself of the lavar Ball side show and is a much happier man.

It's a surprisingly even trade and both teams fill some needs.

Lakers get cap space and a big who can soak up some much needed C mins this year.

Suns get a great PG fit for their team for now and the future for very little out going assets.

The only thing that may stop the trade is Laker's view of Lonzo.

Nice trade idea.

Big wiz:. Lakers get barely $3 mill cap space and give up lonzo. Why would they ever do this?
