Atl get Kanter Lee Burke Noah Kornet
Knicks get Bazemore Lin Dedmon Plumlee

Talent wise atl is favorite. Kanter Lee have more to offer than Bazemore and Any other other player. Burke could challenge young as their starter. Lin is a shell of his linsanity yr. Plumlee and Noah despite 7 mil more in money are even talent wise at this point in their career.

Money wise they are both even. Both have to pay about 32 mil to 2 players in the 2019-20 season. Lee Noah equal talent wise Bazemore Plumlee

Ny does it bc both plumlee and bazemore are easier to trade than Noah which ny master plan is clear as much cap space as possible.

Ny now can now trade hardaway for Simmons Ajinca & Bazemore for Shumpert. You will stretch provision plumlee final yr to finalize NY master plan or maybe Plumlee Ajince for Asik Felicio at deadline But what ever you do is force Plumlee 28-30 min jack up his stats and make him more attractive.

1.) 16 Aug 2018 18:49:50
Bazemore is better than Lee, Linn is better than Kornet and Burke, Plumlee is better than Noah, and Dedmond is better than Kanter. How is the talent better coming back to Atlanta? This is awful for Atlanta.

Also, why would Sacremento trade an expiring for a veteran on a big contract?

2.) 16 Aug 2018 18:56:45
Hill not simmons lmao.

3.) 16 Aug 2018 23:55:23
Hezonja is the sg? Dude. Do you watch the sport? He’s a 3/ 4. Stop putting big men as the shooting guard.

4.) 16 Aug 2018 23:18:18
An with that trade the knicks are the biggest contenders to the warriors could you imagine the defense? Wow golden state wouldn’t know what to do.

5.) 17 Aug 2018 02:20:51
Ny is tanking minutemaid, letsgoknicks knicks playing big.
Rkenne noah better than love lmoa.

6.) 17 Aug 2018 05:41:24
Shizzee the funny this is you think I’m joking. The only that is even arguable is Kanter and Dedmond and i’d take Dedmond because he can actually stay on the court in the playoffs. Kanter is to bad on defense.

15 Aug 2018 06:40:44
Trade after september where noah is than owed 26 mil

Hawks get Kanter Randolph
Kings get Bazemore Noah Mavs 1st Cash
Knicks get Plumlee Shumpert Koufos

Hawks clear 35 mil all non rookie salary beyond 2018 for their 3rd lowest 2019 1st.

Kings get starting sg for 2 yrs until Hield is ready. In addition they get 2 mil from ny and 5 mil from atl to pay noah remaining salary remaining 18-19 yr of salary. Noah is 1st big off the bench which they showcase for 30 games before trading his 19 mil expiring contract for Gorgui Dieng.

Knicks get rid noah at cost of Kanter and cash. Still have Plumlee to showcase him 30 games as a starter 14ppg 10rpg 2 bpg for should impress someone in his final 12 mil to a team who needs a center next yr.
Other moves Hardaway for Mathews Simmons for Lee.

1.) 15 Aug 2018 15:59:10
So unbelievable.

2.) 15 Aug 2018 16:54:32
Unbelievable vs what, deng ball kuzma Ingram for Davis. LMAO

Lets break it down:
Shumpert for bazemore cash is fair
Plumlee mavs 1st for Kanter is fair
Noah cash mavs 1st for Randolph Koufos is fair.

So how is my trade idea unbelievable.

3.) 15 Aug 2018 19:15:36
I can’t see Atlanta giving up a 1st or the Kings wanting Bazemore. The value isn’t terrible, but i’m Just not sure that it makes sense with Atlanta and Sac’s directions.

4.) 15 Aug 2018 20:35:44
Looks like the Kings take on a ton of bad money.

5.) 15 Aug 2018 22:11:15
I agree 16.

My trade take place next year when Deng and Davis will be expiring. I said ball and Ingram plus three 1st. Like I said that's more then what bulls got for Butler, wolves for love, thunder for harden spurs for Leonard, clippers for Paul and Griffin and magic for Howard plus pelicans for Paul.

13 Aug 2018 05:40:18
This seems fair only if Porzingis announces he will back after December

C's get Porzingis Waiters Mudiay
Heat get Kanter Hardaway
NY get Irving Whiteside Yubesele Ojeleye

Kings get Lee Noah Kornet 2019 1st
Knicks get Shumpert Randolph Koufos

1.) 13 Aug 2018 10:17:55
Irving is NOT going to be traded. Can't understand why people think he will be. SMH Even if he walks at the end if the season they will ride this team all the ways to the finals, if they make it that far. Why would they not let it play out to see if they can win a title in Boston.
The people who will disagree with this are either dreamers or fools.

2.) 13 Aug 2018 11:50:17
JoeB- if trader Danny thinks he is going for nothing he is going to get traded.

3.) 13 Aug 2018 14:14:31
Wait, you are a knicks fan and you have Knox as a shooting guard?

Again, you probably should watch basketball at some point.

4.) 13 Aug 2018 18:20:51
Nobody agree with you letsgoknicks fan bc 19, he can play sg position. Knicks coach already said they want to play bigger than anybody. he will experiment knox at 2 porzingis 3 and Kornet 4. Even if you play hezonja or shumpert at 2 and Knox and Ojeleye at 3, it makes no diferrence who starts, its how you finish. Their front court is built like a defensive wall. So knicks can create a mismatches offensively at 2. Read an article on knicks plans is too play bigger than anybody, come out of your grandma's basement.

5.) 14 Aug 2018 10:17:19
Shillwe, if you think Ainge will pull the plug on a Championship season because he thinks Irving will leave, you don't know Ainge or basketball.
Only way Ainge would do that is, if tbe Celtics are a lottery team.
I don't think anyone on the planet thinks that will happen. Lol.

6.) 14 Aug 2018 18:08:00
Shizzee, think about this logically, if you can.
What team would trade major assets for Irving if, as reported, is going to NY or Brooklyn?
Answer: no oNE
Why would the Knicks or Nets want to trade for Irving, giving up major assets, when they can sign him as a free agent?
Ainge wouldn't trade him for an inferior package. He would hold onto him and run out the season and hopefully they win the title.
Ainge is NOT afraid of a player walking in free agency.
Plus, It's been reported that Ainge is really confident that he can resign him.

12 Aug 2018 11:55:48
Mavs get Hayward Kanter C's 2019 1st
C's get Porzingis Mathews Hardaway Burke
Knicks get Irvings Yubesele Jordan
Ojeleye Kleber-cut

Mavs have solid starting 5 and key vets on bench to playoff run. Risk of taking on Hayward gets late 1st

Celtics might loose Irving to NY as it is. Hayward may never be the same player. Clearing out of his contract is a safe risk. Porzingis might put C's as a legitimate contender ahead of the raptors and sixers. With out 2 more picks

Knicks loose their star unicorn to get better sooner without thinking of 2019 free agency or dump lee noah 2019 1st for Shumpert Randolph Koufos and purse fa next yr or This allows them to think 2020 free agency where they can be contender with additional 60 in cap space. Many options

1.) 12 Aug 2018 13:16:12
Not a chance that the Celtics move Irving and Hayward at all, never mind for that package. Ridiculous.

2.) 12 Aug 2018 14:25:02
Irving and Hayward are not going anywhere -- especially for a guy who might not even play until the All-Star break, if even that. Celtics are good at center with the Baynes/ Horford/ Theis mix. Mathews, Hardaway and Burke might not even be rotation players in Boston.

3.) 12 Aug 2018 15:45:19
I’d take Irving or Hayward over Porzingis. Both for him is ludicrous.

4.) 12 Aug 2018 17:00:29
Ok but when Irving leaves and Hayward not worth 35 mil per yr don't get mad at me. Irving already had 3 knee surgeries. Mathews clears you of Hayward. Hardaway will be worth Hayward for 1/ 2 the cost. Obviously, the trade won't happen Porzingis announce a December trade.

5.) 12 Aug 2018 18:51:13
Are you the only one that doesn’t realize that Hardaway isn’t all that good. He’s at best a player you can bring off the bench to get buckets and at worst a black hole that takes touches away from guys that can score far more efficiently. If you want a guy like that you could trade for one on a better contract. Rodney Hood is a more efficient version of that with more upside and he couldn’t even get an offer sheet. Comparing Hardaway to Hayward is ridiculous. There isn’t 1 area of the game Hardaway where Hardaway is more productive.

6.) 12 Aug 2018 19:04:37
Irving is not playing for the knicks next season. That franchise is still in rebuild mode. Porzingis is more likely to go to Boston than Irving to New York. Unless its Brooklyn we're talking about and other guys are going there to form the mythical super-team. Both scenarios are highly unlikely. 100:1 odds.

7.) 12 Aug 2018 19:07:58
I’m a bit confused as to your definition of efficient scoring. Hood shoots at a lower fg percentage.

You say more upside, but they have played the same amount.

Care to explain or is it just a homer comment?

Hardaway is paid too much. Simple as that. But the guy has a solid place in the league. More so a 6th man.

I do find it funny that supercollider is so dillusional he thinks that the 10th man on the Celtics is an all star level player. At least he must if he claims everyone would fail to be in their rotation.

I’m still curious why Celtics fans are so cocky about the team. You didn’t even make the finals. You’ll have excuses and reasons. But you accomplished the exact same as the suns. You didn’t win the conference. You didn’t win in the playoffs. Awesome.

8.) 12 Aug 2018 19:40:59
That's funny coming from a fan 9f a team that hasn't even sniffed the playoffs since Bernard king.

9.) 12 Aug 2018 19:51:30
Knicks, Hood gives you 1.18 points per shot compared to Hardaway giving you 1.14 pps. Shooting percentage is a pretty flimsy stats. Hood has 1 fewer years in the league, he’s bigger, and he’s a better shooter. It’s splitting hairs, but in the end they’re comparable players and Hood’s contract will end up being significantly less.

The point is Hardaway would be pretty hard to trade without taking bad money back or including assets. There was probably some exaggeration in there though after seeing Shizzee compare Hardaway to Hayward.

10.) 12 Aug 2018 20:26:01
Bigger star had just as bad injuries and never recovered fully (Grant Hill. )

11.) 12 Aug 2018 20:52:50
I’m fairly sure the doctors said there was minimal ligament damage and comparing an injury from 2 decades ago to now is pointless. Sports medicine is miles ahead of where it was at that point.

12.) 13 Aug 2018 04:33:55
Irving and Jordan are both free agents next year and can possibly leave so knicks trade there whole starting 5 for 2 players that are on 1 yr rentals? Lol makes no sense.

10 Aug 2018 23:59:05
Porzingis should be traded to get rid of Noah and bring back picks.

Mavs get Porzingis Lee Hardaway Noah
Hawks get Jordan Mathews Burke
Knicks get Bazemore Plumlee Lin Kleber Atl & Mavs 1st & 2nd

Hawks clear bad contracts add needed with very conpetitive team

Dangerous mavs team and final run with Dirk

Shumpert for Bazemore 2nd
Plumlee for Bayless

25-57 tank

1.) 11 Aug 2018 14:30:32
I like this idea, but no team is going to give up much for Porzingis. He's injured and he becomes a free agent next summer.

However, if any team would give a good price, it would be Dallas. So i can see them doing this. It's Atlanta that would say no. They should get young talent, not giving up a draft pick for an aging veteran that can't play offence.

2.) 11 Aug 2018 20:30:01
so atl is giving up what should be a top 5 pick for dj on a 1 year deal? nooooooo way.

Im so sick of the knicks management to consider cutting noah is bad bussiness move. Kepp him 1 more yr and use stretch provision next yr. Knicks have no reason create cap space this yr. They only double the amount against cap if they his final yr. Knicks need dump Kournet or Baker

1.) 09 Aug 2018 15:38:07
Shizzee, you are literally the most ignorant basketball fan. The reason they are waiting til Sept 1 to stretch him is because it does stretch him for just the 1 year while having this year count for this year.

According to Wojnarowski and Begley, waiving Noah via the stretch provision after Sept. 1 would keep his $18.5 million salary on the books for next season but allow them to pay out his $19.3 million salary for the 2019-20 campaign in three installments with cap hits $6.4 million in the summers of '20 and '21.

Seriously, think before you type.

2.) 09 Aug 2018 18:31:37
Lakers may do the same with deng. But his cap hit will be a lil less. But I would keep Noah and Deng and attach a 2020 first on draft night to dump them.

3.) 09 aug 2018 22:54:22
so you feel the same way about knicks management as we all do about your knicks trades!

4.) 10 Aug 2018 20:42:14
Dolan did just write a love song for Harvey Weinstein and performed it on TV. Does it get any worse?

5.) 10 Aug 2018 21:01:36
Yeah, I don’t get the logic behind cutting him now. They’re not in the luxury and there isn’t anyone left worth giving money to in free agency. It just adds a few million in spending next year over just stretching them then plus they’ll have money tied until 21-22 rather than just 20-21. Plus, he’ll be infinitely easier to move next summer when teams have space and it’s just a one year thing for a team that won’t use their cap anyway.

6.) 11 Aug 2018 00:01:28
The thought is it allows them to go hard next free agency. Sign a couple max contracts if possible then deal with the ramifications down the line. It’s a sign that they believe they can make an impact next year as opposed to waiting.

08 Aug 2018 14:59:02
Knox - 2nd Melo potential
Ntilikina 2nd Gary Payton potential
Robinson - 2nd Capela potential
Porzingis athletic Dirk if he avoids injuries.

NY should highly consider dumping kanter and Mudiay and bring the deng and ball family including his 1 brother for minimum wage. Draft young brother in 2 yrs.

Thats 5 player 22 yrs and younger at 5 position with star potential.

Wait an extra yr for free agency, to see who reach potential add better pieces and continue with 2 more lotto picks. Show case noah and deng for trade in midseason if they blossom back to form. Regardless avoid paying an older butler with 2 knee injuries, avoid paying an undersized walker or avoid irving of long term. This plan also avoid dumping thomas and Lee. But hardaway is necessary.

1.) 08 Aug 2018 15:24:50
You are a terrible knicks fan. By the ways, Ntilikina is gary payton? In what world? Yes they both play great defense, but Payton had years averaging almost 25 pts and 9 assists per game. You are insane if you think that's anything Frank will produce. You need to start watching basketball some time soon.

2.) 08 Aug 2018 17:53:19
Real comparisons:
Porzingis - LaMarcus Aldridge
Ntiilkina - Pat Beverly
Knox: Sure, maybe Melo or Paul George best case scenario (You could say the same thing about any lottery pick before their rookie year though) . Most likely scenario: Jeff Green.

Star potential? A second round pick has star potential? In that case, all second round picks (and first obviously) have star potential. Good thing, I'll let Neil Olshey know that Collins and Simons are about to be the second comings of Duncan and Jordan!

3.) 08 Aug 2018 19:57:23
You forgot Ron Baker is he next Jordan and Burke is the next Curry.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 23:46:25
1st learn the word potential, use your phone for something useful, letsgoknicks. Frank is 20 yrs old. Payton came in this league at 22. let's see how good he will get in next 2 yrs. Jeff green would of been great if it wasnt for heart problems. Bmiller your mad bc your blazers peaked can't win nothing but summer league. Collins is nice piece and simons is a project hope they work out for you. Blazers don't have any rim protectors. Defense wins championship. Rkenne your future is only sexton, kevin love and the Kardashian curse. don't be mad. Knicks draft 18 and 19 yrs old the last 2 yrs and will take time to develop. Whether you believed in their potential or not, those are not my comparison, But comparison of experts when the players came to the league. let's see ntilikina does euro champ and than during season. Like i said our future plays defense and I love defense.

5.) 09 Aug 2018 11:35:44
Melo potential?
Knox is better now than Anthony was in his prime.

6.) 09 Aug 2018 15:41:48
shizzee, you lost all credibility (not just claiming the potential of these 18 and 19 year olds being hall of famers) above when you ranted about how the knicks management frustrates you for using the stretch provision on 2 years of salary instead of waiting a year and using it on 1 year.

To repeat, the knicks wait til after sept 1 so this years salary counts on this years books, and they only stretch 1 year.

Perhaps you should be using your phone for something useful instead of hysterics.

31 Jul 2018 00:24:08
Mannix of nbc and stephen A Smith both say Celtics and are melo best choice, celtics are 1 scorer away from finals

1.) 31 Jul 2018 00:54:38
Hayward could be that guy. Melo would be extra for the celtics. Or insurance for injuries. He's a great back up player but the celtics have a great team with no injuries.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 02:37:11
Nice try.

3.) 31 Jul 2018 03:10:00
He will probably just go ahead and go to the rockets, but who knows.

4.) 31 Jul 2018 15:21:16
That scorer is Korver. Recess over yet?

5.) 01 Aug 2018 19:29:37
To the fisherman, change your worm, that one didn't get any bites.

24 Jul 2018 16:58:55
What are cavs doing Love 4yr 120 mil extension

1.) 24 Jul 2018 17:27:29
It's making him untradable. 30 mil for a poor defender, bad runner? The guy doesn't handle the ball. He passes well, shoots well, rebounds. That is not worth 30 mil to me. Not at 30 and his injury history.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 20:29:14
It’s less than his max and it’s not like he’s show many signs of declining. He just finished his best year as a Cav. It’s not ridiculous to think he has another 3 or 4 years of allstar caliber play in him. Also, none of his injuries have been major ligament injuries, foot related injuries or back injuries. Breaking hand bones, dislocating your shoulder, and having a torn meniscus, don’t typically have long term effects.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 09:49:42
I would have traded him for a first round pick, but he's still a good player, it seems like the cavs wqant to win between 35 and 45 games the next few years.

19 Jul 2018 23:42:15
Celtics once again has emerged as front runner in landing Carmelo Anthony after being traded to ATL. The billboards will start going up and jersey sales in Boston will increase dramatically. i'm excited.
