Trade SGA/Robinson/Shamet/6 First Round Picks (Rights to their '19 First, '20 First from PHI, '21 First from MIA, '22 First from LAC, Future First from Lou Williams trade, Future First from Harrell trade) for AD

How does this compare with the NYK and BOS packages?

This gives the Pelicans the equivalent of 9 first round picks plus close to $20 million in immediate savings due to the difference in salaries.

If the Clippers can dump Gallinari's contract either with Lou Williams, through a possible Kawhi (S&T) with the Raptors or to another team, the Clippers try to pair AD with Kawhi and KD along with Zubac's small cap hold. They fill the rest of the roster with the room exception (point guard), second round picks and ring chasers.

Its ambitious to say the least. I actually like this for Pels because it creates a Trust the Process But also it puts AD in LA but not with the Tamperers.

I think New Orleans is looking for 3 things to trade AD.

1. "Proven" young talent.
2. Draft picks
3. Salary cap relief (most likely salary dumping Hill's contract) .

The Clippers young talent is not proven and the Clips would lose their max salary slot in order to provide significant salary cap relief to New Orleans.

Expiring S. Hill in a trade involving AD? Wouldn't that mean less return for the rebuilding pelicans? I don't think S. Hill $ will be required to make the salaries work unless Wall is the trade target.

However, getting someone to take Hill's deal for free would open up $30 mil in cap space this off season to take on a bad deal for a pick. Unloading Hill speeds up the rebuild process.

I like the offer. NO already has big men for the future in Randle and Okafor. Getting SGA and Shamet who had a great year would be big. Having set 4 positions for 7/ 8 years is great. It depends on the celtics if they offer Tatum, Brown, Smart and picks. That would be the only better offer. Picks of the Celtics aren't better than the picks of the Clippers.

How is Hill's deal in an AD trade going to be free for the Pels? I am not clear on what you are saying. Hill is expiring, and he can be traded to acquire a bad contract along with other players. Doesn't need to be included to drag an AD trade down. I think this is a standing 8 count for you fredman.

The picks would have been useless if they hadnt canned Dell Demmps. He wouldve burned them up in bad trades.
