Draft: If the get a top 4 take Culver, Reddish or Hunter as a winger and defender.

1. Sign Walker max (via Cap Space)

2. Sign Valanciunas 4y 80m (via Trade exception)

Walker is fast, can shoot the 3 and score form anywhere. Valanciunas can also shoot from outside and is a good rim protect!

Sooooo close yet so far. The cap hold for your top 4 draft pick (along with KP and empty roster spot cap holds) takes away the necessary cap space to offer Walker a max deal. The Mavs are about $5 mil short on the first year which turns into Walker taking around $25 mil less over the length of the contract.

The doubters. : ) And math experts. Stretch Lee 4y 3,2 and you have 33m CAP to sign Walker Max 4y or if Charlotte agrees (maybe future 2nd) give him 5y max. Sign Harris min instead - voila. Walker, Doncic, Culver, Zinger shoot you the lights out and you have Valanciunas to protect the rim that is a extraordinary good shooter as well. hope for opponents to survice a sweep in the playoffs. ;)

Not to mimic bmiller to much, but there are plenty of touches to go around and neither guy is useless off ball. It’s not like we’re trying to figure out how Ben Simmons and Westbrook could realistically fit together. Maybe you play Walker a little more on ball to force Doncic to keep working on his game off ball, but both are going to have the ball in there hands a ton and it’s not hard to go get complementary guys that just don’t need the ball.
