NYK Plans

NYK-PHI

NYK: Al Horford, Josh Richardson, 1st round pick (#21), 1st round pick 2022 lottery protected

PHI: Bobby Portis (exp), Wayne Ellington (exp), Dennis Smith Jr (exp), 2nd round pick

If PHI wants to dump Horford, New York must be in-play for that. Why? Because they can fetch some assets that they could use for bigger trades. Sixers have very small room to improve, 1st step is to get rid of a big contract. They will have around 40mil savings in 2022. Those 3 players can get still can play and be a good rotational pieces for them (unlike in NY)

NYK-CHA

NYK: #3 pick, Malik Monk

CHA: #8 pick, #27 pick via PHI, Dallas 1st 2021, 2021 top 5 protected, Kevin Knox

NYK select Lamelo Ball #3

resign Mo Harkless 2yr/12mil

NYK-IND

NYK: Victor Oladipo

IND: RJ Barrett, Ignas Brazdeikis, #21 pick via PHI, Dallas 1st 2023

Lamelo not worth it.

Those are all at least semi believable.

Probably not enough for Oladipo.

I think that's enough for Oladipo. 2 picks and a young player with potential. Does New York be willing to give Barrett for an expiring contract of Oladipo? Maybe if he guarantees an extension it makes a lot of sense.

Too much to give up for Oladipo and his constant injury issues.
