Matthews for Wilson, Vaugn, 2nd

1.) 30 Oct 2017 17:08:17
Why would the bucks do this?
They already have middleton.
They need a scoring pointguardo r a good big man.

2.) 30 Oct 2017 19:30:43
If the bucks wanted to put Giannis at PG, I actually like this a lot. The trio of Giannis, Matthews, and Middleton would be amazing defensively, and those two would compliment Giannis by stretching the floor.

Bledsoe, Jackson for Fultz, Okafor, Covington, 2nd round pick

1.) 25 Oct 2017 00:19:29
Jackson is playing better than Fultz.

2.) 25 Oct 2017 00:32:45
Neither team says yes. Suns are high on jackson and philly just traded up to get fultz.

3.) 25 Oct 2017 01:38:38
In 2 or 3 years Fultz could be significantly better than Bledsoe. This would be terrible for Philly.

4.) 25 Oct 2017 03:47:57
this is a pretty fair trade. too bad that doesn’t mean it will actually happen. sixers aren’t moving fultz and bledsoe’s value is lower now that phx basically said they don’t want him anymore.

5.) 25 Oct 2017 14:56:12
Right now, Fultz can't raise his arm (s) above his shoulder. He's damaged goods.

6.) 25 Oct 2017 18:02:12
funny how fultz has a rocky start to his 19 year old, rookie season and everyone has completely lost faith in him becoming the star he was pegged as 3 months ago.

7.) 25 Oct 2017 19:17:39
Dona, give the fact that he can't shoot at this point, I'm not sure how he anyone can judge what he'll be. I'd imagine the shoulder has a much better chance of recovering well and less of a chance of being reinjured since it's not load bearing. It's not as stressed as something like a knee.

Cavs get McCollum, Aminu

Blazers get Wiggins, Dieng

Timberwolves get Irving, Frye

23 Jul 2017 07:09:42
Everyone else is throwing Kyrie trades out there so I figured I would give it a go. Combined a couple ideas I saw and got this:

Trades: Thomas, Crowder, '18 Brooklyn 1st
Recieves: Irving

Solves the point guard problem next summer when Thomas is a free absent and they get a superstar.

Trade: Irving, Thompson, Frye
Recieve: Thomas, Crowder, Jordan, Lou Williams

Get more depth and talent.
Sign Speights

Trade: Jordan, Williams
Recieve: Thompson, Frye, '18 Brooklyn 1st

It was rumored they offered Jordan straight up for #3, so I think this would be a good option for them.

1.) 23 Jul 2017 09:05:46
I would love to have Irving in Boston. Nur I don't think the Cavs accept it because IT will be a free agent next year so bis value is a little bit too low. If you add the lakers pick it might work but I'm afraid the Cavs want Brown or Tatum as they are on ein now mode. If I were the Celtics gm I don't know if I would do it. I'm really uncertain. The second trade won't work either because the clippers don't want to rebuild.

2.) 23 Jul 2017 09:46:56
Don't think Boston will trade Crowder. Maybe swap him with brown.

3.) 23 Jul 2017 12:19:03
Celtics are definitely an attractive trade partner since they have quality pieces that can help Cavs now as well as young assets and draft picks which can just be ammo for another Cavs trade down the line or help Cavs rebuild if Lebron leaves.
If I were Cavs I'd be interested in a package of IT, Crowder/ Brown and a combo of draft picks. IT can replace a lot of the offense you lose with Kyrie (neither give you much more than that) and the other pieces help to compensate for ITs upcoming FA as well as Irving's younger age and better contract. This move could arguably put Cavs in a better position to compete this year (adding a versatile defender like Crowder that doesn't hurt you on offense would be huge for Cavs) while allowing them to have assets to fall back on if Lebron left (could move Crowder, Love and TT and use Nets/ lakers pick to hopefully get a new face of the franchise) .

I think this trade could also make a lot of sense for Celtics because they'd avoid having to pay a 29 yr old IT over 30 mill per year well into his 30s and instead get a younger, cheaper, better and bigger point guard to be new face of their franchise. Kyrie's youth enables them to move some of their picks without significantly hurting their bright future and also is perfect bridge player as someone who can help them now and later. Celtics also have a little bit of a crowded forward rotation so I think moving Crowder or Brown wouldn't hurt them as much as it may seem. Knowing Celtics however, they wouldn't give up this much and just try and low ball the Cavs until Cavs get fed up. There is also the issue of these two teams being rivals right now helping each other.

Not as big of a fan of including Clippers part since although Jordan would be an upgrade over Thompson don't think he is a big enough one to justify giving up Brooklyn pick (assuming they can get that pick) even if they got back Williams. If the pick was a lesser pick like Clipper or Memphis 2019 or Celtics 2018 I could see it happening however (If Cavs got Lakers + one of those picks instead of Nets as part of their return) .

4.) 23 Jul 2017 14:32:23
I love that lebron plays the two because crowder demands respect and the 3.

Good one.

5.) 23 Jul 2017 15:40:34
Hamburger - it's about getting the best players on the court and if that means LeBron plays the 2 then I think he is more than capable.

06 Jul 2017 21:25:38
Timberwolves reportedly interested in Jamal Crawford

Aldrich OKC 1st for Crawford

Timberwolves get a 6th man scorer and dump Aldrich. Hawks get another first rounder next year.

1.) 06 Jul 2017 22:52:30
Or Minnesota can wait until Crawford gets bought out.

Done Deal:

Kyrie to Boston for Thomas, Crowder, Zizic, 2018 Brk 1st

Good deal for both sides I think. Celtics get younger point guard to pair with young talent they already have and they avoid dealing with Thomas free agency next summer.

Cavs get a scorer in thomas, a really good defender in crowder to help against Warriors, a center to back up Thompson, and probably a top 5 pick in next years draft.

1.) 23 Aug 2017 07:29:48
Cavs come away laughing.

2.) 23 Aug 2017 16:55:44
This was a terrible deal for the Celtics. So the Celtics traded IT3 for a slightly taller, less team oriented IT3. Mind you, Irving is an iso player, much like the all hated Melo. But it wasnt just a straight trade. No. The Celtics gave up a very good 3 and D in crowder, a nice prospect in Zizic, and the brooklyn pick?

For all the credit ainge gets (some deserved, some not), i think he bombed hard on this. Kudos to the new cavs GM for fleecing Ainge like this.

3.) 24 Aug 2017 15:43:28
I really like this for Cleveland.
Not sure about Boston.

23 Feb 2017 20:39:41
The Cavs came out of the trade deadline the biggest winners. Boogie Cousins stayed in the west, the Celtics didn't make any moves to push them over the top. And Bogut and Deron Williams are likely to hit the buy out market and both of them fill needs for the Cavs.

1.) 24 Feb 2017 03:09:03
Raptors look like a threat though, and Boston is a tiny threat. And who knows about the Wizards.

2.) 24 Feb 2017 05:32:51
Wouldn't consider them winners. Cavs ultimate goal is to win a championship and they made no steps to improve their chances of doing so. Yes it helps the Cavs that Boston didn't make a big move to get a superstar but Raptors made two solid moves that will make them formidable. Cavs have looked quite mortal lately and didn't make any of the moves that they need to to even out their lineup and not have to play Lebron so much leading up to playoffs.

Lucky for them there are a fair number of veteran guys who are candidates for buy outs and they may be able to get help there although not sure if that will even be enough. Its a bit risky too since no guarantee certain guys get bought out and once they do the Cavs won't be the only team going for them. Someone like Bogut may opt to go to Boston instead and maybe Williams wants to return to the Jazz.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 11:33:53
Cavaliers Starting Lineup

Kyrie Irving/ Deron Williams
J. R. Smith/ Kyle Krovor
LeBron James/ Rich Jefferson
Kevin Love/ Channing Fyre
Andrew Night/ Tristan Thompson.

4.) 25 Feb 2017 04:47:02
Bogut is signing with the warriors because of a CBA loophole.

Celtics get Butler, Noel

Sixers get Johnson, Smart, Young

Bulls get Okafor, Crowder, 2017 Brk first

1.) 03 Feb 2017 19:19:10
Why does philly do this?

2.) 03 Feb 2017 20:21:04
Johnson and young have zero trade value. don't think philly is giving up noel and okafor for a guard who can't shoot. Sixers say No .

Smart is much more valuable because of his defensive capabilities.

Milwaukee gets Porzingis without giving up Parker, Middleton, or Maker. Not a chance. New York gets screwed.

I agree that it's a good pickup. However, I see Rose coming off the bench to provide scoring. I think starting JR with Kyrie and LeBron is still the best lineup with his shooting. Rose will play 20-24 minutes a game giving LeBron and Kyrie ball handling rest.
