Um, Ross makes like $10 million more than Nesmith, and the Celtics are over the cap.

Learn the rules. And more important, learn your players actual value.

I've thought of this trade and it works since Boston can take Ross into their Fournier TPE. If Boston thinks they're a bench player away from contention this coming offseason maybe they consider it. I like Nesmith but he needs consistent minutes to develop.
