GS can start a rebuilt with a young core and draft picks and aim for the 25 free agency class to get the missing part.

If there's a thing in the NBA that is almost 0% of happening, it's the Warriors trading Stephen Curry.

GS should consider this.
They get a young talent, five draft picks and two swaps back for a 35 year old player.

And they should let Curry go, if he can play for another title. I feel like the Goldenstate run is over and that Toronto team has a chance to win a ring.

Why does everyone try to slip a good player to the Lakers for nothing? 2 picks 5 years down the road doesn't get you anything, which is why the Lakers can't pull off a trade.

I like those Lakers picks, if unprotected.
And Westbrook is an expiring contract.

LA has to pay D Green big money, so little chance they can attract a free agent in 25.
And LBJ, A Davis and D Green will probably all retire before the 26-27 season, so there's a big chance those picks go high in the draft.

GS already has some interesting young players, they will have capsace in 25 and they can use those picks to get an extra star.

I really like this trade for GS.

Gasupo of course u like it. You posted it. It's already came out that teams want a minimum of 1 first rounders to tk Westbrook. So that means you HV the Lakers getting van fleet and Draymond for a first round pick. Also Davis is only 29, I don't see him retiring at 3 or 4 years. Plus no gm is thinking Abt pick 5 years down the road when he may not even be there to use them.

The picks are only good as trading chips at this point. 2-3 years down the road, then we will have a better idea what their "value" is.

D Green is 32 years old, can opt out and wants a big contract.
I'm not sure he's worth that money for GS.
Anthony Davis can't stay healty and will be 30 next month.
I don't see Westbrook as a negative asset, he's an expiring contract. If you trade for draft picks, you have to take money back, an expiring contract is not a negative asset in such trade.

The good thing about the picks is that they give the team flexibility. You can use them to get a better pick, you can trade them for a player you need or you wait and use them to draft a young player

The most important is that all teams get what they need in this trade.
Both LA and Toronto becomes contenders in this trade, so the question is. Is this enough for Golden state to trade S curry?
Curry deserves to play for a contender and GS should let him go for the correct deal. A young talent, five draft picks and two swaps seems that correct deal for me.

Actually, the question is would Masai trade 3 1sts and Scottie, even for Curry? The answer to that is NO. He has never traded more than 1 first in any deal he's ever made.

If Toronto wants to have a chance @ getting Curry, they'll have to include all their pick swaps as well.

Golden State will never trade Curry. Thompson & Green go before him, & I don't think those two get trade either.

GS big 3 retire in San Francisco. They mean too much for that organization.
