If Pacers keep Oladipo:

GSW: Turner, #6 Pick
ATL: Wiggins, 2021 1st (Minn.)
IND: #2 Pick

LAC: Leaf, 2nd rnd Pick
IND: J. Green

Brogdon/A. Holiday/McConnell

If they sign Toppin last they should be able to pay Holiday more than the "room" MLE I think. Fill the remainder with Vet. Min.

1.) 10 Oct 2020 22:10:48
Don’t think the Hawks will have enough cap space to absorb Wiggins’ contract like that.

2.) 11 Oct 2020 04:33:48
I don't think gsw will give 2 first round picks for turner.

3.) 12 Oct 2020 04:07:13
The Hawks have cap to get any player they want in a trade. But they still have to give up more like Huerter or Reddish.

IND - A. Gordon
ORL - Ball + Miller
NO - Turner

Re-sign J. Holiday
Don't think they would bite but would like to see if Sacramento would take Leaf + a second 2021 round pick for R. Holmes. Give that second unit a hard charger!

1.) 22 Sep 2020 06:26:54
2 guards (Ball and Fultz) who can't shoot isn't that appealing from Orlando's perspective. They really need shooters and if they are to trade Gordon, i think it would be to a worthy starting small forward or shooting guard.

Trade # 1
Lakers receive Victor Oladipo.
Pacers receive Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, and LA 2021 1st.
Trade # 2
Wizards receive Myles Turner.
Pacers receive Thomas Bryant, Troy Brown Jr. and the #37 pick.

2020-2021 Pacers:
Brown Jr/Green/Sumner

I don't think they would go for it but I would also offer Memphis TJ Leaf, the Pacers 2020 2nd, and the Lakers 2021 1st for B. Clarke, I think he is going to be a really good player.

1.) 04 Sep 2020 07:25:25
I would trade Sabonis if I traded for Kuzma. Think turner and Kuzma fit better.

2.) 04 Sep 2020 13:55:00
Pelicans own Lakers 2021 pick. They can get better pick for turner or better player.

3.) 04 Sep 2020 16:01:50
That could be done although I think Sabonis is a better all around player. They would have to pair up with a different team though as Washington's highest priority should be a Rim Protector.

4.) 04 Sep 2020 16:42:10
I wouldn’t base my trades on picking up Kuzma, who isn’t a “core of a team“ kind of talent.

Sabonis>>>>>>>Turner. In that, I’d keep Sabonis unless indy decides to totally blow it up. Even then, I might keep him because he’s still very young.

5.) 05 Sep 2020 03:29:43
Agree with BMiller. I'd keep Sabonis. I didn't like the Thunder trading him as he really gives 100% all the time, but Pacers wanted him and Olidipo for George so you make that trade every time.

6.) 05 Sep 2020 19:20:30
Yeah, Indy and OKC both won that.

The Pacers salary situation for the near future doesn't look to good. Once you factor in the possible re-signing of Oladipo and a contract extension on Warren you are talking about Luxury Tax numbers and I really don't think the owner ship will go there for anything less than title contention. With that being said I propose the following off season moves:

IND trades Turner to Dallas for Kleber and the #18 pick.

IND trades Oladipo, McDermott, the Dallas #18 pick and a future 2nd pick to Memphis for Winslow (Team Option after next year), Brooks, and B. Clarke.

Re-sign Sampson and J. Holiday

Clarke/Kleber/Vet Min.
Warren/J. holiday/Winslow
Brogdon/A. Holiday/McConnell

1.) 27 Aug 2020 15:46:32
you think Cuban will ever trade German player in his prime.

2.) 27 Aug 2020 16:48:31
So Pacers give up the best player in both trades? And have to include a 1st with Dipo? They turn into a fringe playoff team with those trades.

3.) 27 Aug 2020 17:17:00
Dallas has the nearly $8 mil in cap space for the salary difference in the first trade? Not if the salary cap drops next year.

4.) 27 Aug 2020 18:43:15
I don't think they will give warren an extension. he has 2 more years on his contract. 2 years is very long for nba. you never know what will happen in two years.

5.) 27 Aug 2020 20:26:03
I like Oladipo, but that’s an overpay. Oladipo might just be this guy now. You’re risking trading 3 potentially good starters for a good starter and a mid first.

I would like to see the Pacers make 1 more move. Not a big fan of Doug McDermott's play. Sorry Doug but your defense is atrocious.
According to Yahoo Sports Minnesota may make Robert Covington Available in a trade. So....

Pacers receive Robert Covington
Minnesota Receives McDermott + 1 or 2 future second round picks.

When Victor returns you are looking at:

Covington would be the oldest player at 28 and these young men could be together for a few years.

1.) 08 Jul 2019 06:14:48
Minny will get better offers for Covington. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on Golden State as part of a package for Dangelo Russell. RoCo essentially becomes Iggy's replacement on the Warriors.

2.) 08 Jul 2019 16:33:41
You mat be right in that Minnesota may get better offers but I don't think one of them will be from Golden State. i believe they are "hard capped" so unless they can find a way to send more salary out then the salary due RoCo then it not in the cards. Still it would be nice to see him added to this Pacer team.

3.) 08 Jul 2019 18:53:47
Roco + Teague for Dlo + Jacob Evans keeos the Warriors under the hard cap.

4.) 09 Jul 2019 21:52:11
That would keep them under but why would they trade Russell after they jumped through hoops to get him?

I think you can all forget about Turner being traded to Boston. Maybe if it was their only option. I would hope that Pritchard and Co. would not think that Making a conference competitor, that is already better than you, even better!
Yea, Let's do that so we can lose to them for years to come!

Pacers would be better off with Holmes as the "throw in" instead of Parker.

The Pacers aren't going to trade a Young starter on a good contract for a handful of backups. At least, I wouldn't.

Something else to consider. This is not a good year for free agency. Also there are not a lot of people seeking trades. So, those players that are made available will be in high demand. This puts the Pacers in a good position.

Once again Boston isn't giving up enough. Plus I do not see anyway the Pacers can trade for Hayward and put together a competitive team and stay out of the luxury tax.

Plus, if the Pacers want Jrue Holiday they could trade Turner and McConnell or Turner and Leaf straight up for him.

Don't think the Pacers would ever agree to the first trade with Warren involved. If you look at their numbers, they are almost identical, but Warren's salary is only 40% of Wiggin's.

On the second I agree with Rkenne_16. The salaries fall just outside the 125% rule but I am sure there are ways around it and if there aren't then through in either Kurucs' or Musa's contracts.
