This is similar to a trade I suggested a couple of days ago, but that was all picks. This is Knicks - Wolves

Knicks get #1 and O. Spellman

Wolves get #8, 2021 top 5 protected 2021, Dallas 2021 and M. Robinson

The value is fair.

I'm interested in how people away from Wolves internet feel about the following trade -

Wolves get #6 and Collins.

Hawks get #1

Do folks think the Wolves/Hawks need to add any kind of sweetener and, if so, how much? As a Wolves fan, I'm thinking they would need to add #33 as well.

I think it’s a fair trade for both sides, but I am not sure Collins is really a great fit next to KAT.

Good trade beer man.

Trade is fair, but I would rather keep Collins. 20/ 10 players are hard to find. I really don't think the Hawks have any plans on trading Collins.

There’s no way the hawks make that trade. I do appreciate everyone realize how good Collins really is. Everyone wants him on their team.

Wolves-Knicks

Knicks get #1

Wolves get #8, 2021 Knicks 1st, 2021 Dallas 1st

How much protection on the Knicks pick do you think the Wolves need to accept to make this work?

Top 3 protection.

2.) 11 Sep 2020 07:37:49
That seems about the right price, for both teams.

3.) 11 Sep 2020 17:14:21
ball is not the right PG next to barrett at SG. Tyrell Terry is best option.

4.) 13 Sep 2020 16:55:02
shizzee, I can’t say I disagree with you on Ball. As a Wolves fan, I get a little apoplectic when I see a mock that has us picking him. I’m curious about your Tyrell Terry interest, thought. It seems I’ve seen you mention him a couple times. I know him reasonably well as I from Minneapolis. I think he’s a good player, especially given his physical limitations. He does have some physical limitations, though.

The Wolves can’t trade their 2022 pick.

I think the Wolves would rather have Barrett, pick 8 and the top 5 protected 2021. I don’t think they would value #5 over #8 enough to bring Cleveland into it.

How does this help Houston or GS? I can see teams that need a PG wanting CP3. GS isn’t one of those teams. I can see Houston wanting to get off of Russ, but they need a big that can’t shoot and an overpaid and inefficient lolligagger like a whole in the head.

I don’t think the Pacers would want to take Omaha two of the worst contracts in the league for the #2 pick. The only way that would make sense would be for a team looking to build around young, cheap players so that their cap numbers done matter for a few years. Pacers ownership has made it clear through act and word they don’t do that kind of rebuild.

If you look at Oladipo’s career, he’s really only had one season that was above league average from a PER, WS/ 40, BPM, Net Rating or VORP perspective . That season was followed by two that were significantly shortened by injury. We really haven’t seen anything at this point telling us he can get back to form. I liked Hunter in last year’s draft, but not that much.
