NO receives Beal

Washington receives #4, #6, Hart, Jackson
#4 - Garland
#6 - Hunter or Culver
#9 - Hayes

Phoenix receives Ball

1.) 16 Jun 2019 02:52:59
It came out this Washington isn’t moving Beal.

2.) 16 Jun 2019 03:45:18
Jackson for ball is fair. Adding the 6th pick is just ridiculous.

06 Jun 2019 23:31:54

Would 8 and 17 be enough to move the Hawks up to 5 to get Culver?

Hawks draft Culver and Hayes/Clarke.

Solid young core with two max spots available in summer 2020.

1.) 07 Jun 2019 01:01:40
Try 8 and 10 to get #4 of Lakers.

2.) 07 Jun 2019 01:15:14
No. I’d have to be the 8 and 10 at the very least and I don’t think they do that if Culver is sitting there. The 17 in a down draft just isn’t worth missing out on the guy you want.

3.) 07 Jun 2019 01:46:52
It’s always a down draft. I’ve never seen a draft where analysts were like oh the top 20-25 are all going to be stars. There are a lot of wild cards. Bol. Internationals. Rui. Absolutely has value and good value at that.

4.) 07 Jun 2019 05:01:20
Last year’s draft was far more highly regarded.

15 May 2019 23:11:42
If the Knicks are sure they are signing Kyrie and KD, they have no need for RJ. He needs the ball to be effective and there wouldn't be enough shots for him. They could try to trade for AD, but I don't think they have enough pieces to get it done. Here is another option for them:

Knicks get #8, #35, Taurean Prince

Hawks get #3

Knicks draft Brandon Clarke who I think is pretty NBA ready and could be a great small ball big.

1.) 16 May 2019 00:32:45
Nothing is sure in Knick land.

2.) 16 May 2019 00:50:21
Dont have enough pieces to get it done? I think the Knicks actually have the best package of DSJ, #3 pick and 2 Dallas 1st rounders for AD.

3.) 16 May 2019 01:17:58
If you add Lance Thomas to that deal it will be better because i can't see any benefit on the Knicks side with that.

4.) 16 May 2019 01:23:38
This is a total joke. Barrett is a solid defender and a great passer. You are suggesting giving up that on a rookie contract, for 2 significantly worse prospects and a significantly more expensive vet? So foolish. Barrett plays the two. Line up of Irving Barrett Durant Knox and Robinson would do juuust fine.

06 Feb 2019 04:48:46

Prince/Dedmon for Fultz, '19 1st

Simmons/JJ/Butler/Prince/Embiid in crunch time would be a solid lineup for Philly

Hawks take a chance on Fultz and get the 1st rounder to help the rebuild.

Hawks Trades for Build for Future

Jeremy Lin for Z-Bo, Ferrell, 2nd round pick

Kings get a veteran PG to backup Fox. Hawks get a 2nd rounder.

Bazemore and Dedmon for Knight, Nene, Chriss, '19 First, '21 Second

Houston gets a backup Center who can start until Capela gets back and space the floor for Harden. Hawks get a few picks and takes a chance on Chriss.

1.) 18 Jan 2019 22:26:48
Kings give up the 2nd rounder or Farrell, not both.

2.) 19 Jan 2019 00:38:32
So Kings will have 4 PG's on the roster? Yogi will definitely be in the trade and we can't sign every second round pick we have so tossing one or even two for Lin would not be a deal killer for SAC.

3.) 19 Jan 2019 04:41:01
I'm not saying its a deal killer. It is just unnecessary. I think the Kings are interested in Lin in order to send him somewhere else for a wing player which makes more sense. Something like a Randolph for Lin for Ross (2nd rounders tossed in) 3 team deal with Orlando.

4.) 19 Jan 2019 07:04:33
I don't think they are trying to trade for Lin only to trade him somewhere else. Fox at times looks tired. Lin is a solid PG/ Fringe starter so that allows Fox to play more agressive. I do believe trading for Lin is just the first trade being made.

Done Deal:

Kyrie to Boston for Thomas, Crowder, Zizic, 2018 Brk 1st

Good deal for both sides I think. Celtics get younger point guard to pair with young talent they already have and they avoid dealing with Thomas free agency next summer.

Cavs get a scorer in thomas, a really good defender in crowder to help against Warriors, a center to back up Thompson, and probably a top 5 pick in next years draft.

1.) 23 Aug 2017 07:29:48
Cavs come away laughing.

2.) 23 Aug 2017 16:55:44
This was a terrible deal for the Celtics. So the Celtics traded IT3 for a slightly taller, less team oriented IT3. Mind you, Irving is an iso player, much like the all hated Melo. But it wasnt just a straight trade. No. The Celtics gave up a very good 3 and D in crowder, a nice prospect in Zizic, and the brooklyn pick?

For all the credit ainge gets (some deserved, some not), i think he bombed hard on this. Kudos to the new cavs GM for fleecing Ainge like this.

3.) 24 Aug 2017 15:43:28
I really like this for Cleveland.
Not sure about Boston.

23 Feb 2017 20:39:41
The Cavs came out of the trade deadline the biggest winners. Boogie Cousins stayed in the west, the Celtics didn't make any moves to push them over the top. And Bogut and Deron Williams are likely to hit the buy out market and both of them fill needs for the Cavs.

1.) 24 Feb 2017 03:09:03
Raptors look like a threat though, and Boston is a tiny threat. And who knows about the Wizards.

2.) 24 Feb 2017 05:32:51
Wouldn't consider them winners. Cavs ultimate goal is to win a championship and they made no steps to improve their chances of doing so. Yes it helps the Cavs that Boston didn't make a big move to get a superstar but Raptors made two solid moves that will make them formidable. Cavs have looked quite mortal lately and didn't make any of the moves that they need to to even out their lineup and not have to play Lebron so much leading up to playoffs.

Lucky for them there are a fair number of veteran guys who are candidates for buy outs and they may be able to get help there although not sure if that will even be enough. Its a bit risky too since no guarantee certain guys get bought out and once they do the Cavs won't be the only team going for them. Someone like Bogut may opt to go to Boston instead and maybe Williams wants to return to the Jazz.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 11:33:53
Cavaliers Starting Lineup

Kyrie Irving/ Deron Williams
J. R. Smith/ Kyle Krovor
LeBron James/ Rich Jefferson
Kevin Love/ Channing Fyre
Andrew Night/ Tristan Thompson.

4.) 25 Feb 2017 04:47:02
Bogut is signing with the warriors because of a CBA loophole.

03 Feb 2017 17:06:50

Celtics get Butler, Noel

Sixers get Johnson, Smart, Young

Bulls get Okafor, Crowder, 2017 Brk first

1.) 03 Feb 2017 19:19:10
Why does philly do this?

2.) 03 Feb 2017 20:21:04
Johnson and young have zero trade value. don't think philly is giving up noel and okafor for a guard who can't shoot. Sixers say No .

The Hawks have the cap space to sign Hayward of he opts out of Boston. No need to fall 8 spots in the draft to get a guy that you can just sign.

I find the Hawks sign and trade Hayward chatter interesting. They have the money to sign him outright in free agency so not really sure why they would give up players or picks for him.

In your scenario, I would just keep 6 and hope Okongwu is still on the board. I just don’t think wiseman is worth giving up Hunter or Reddish to get.

Ritequick - As a Hawks fan I definitely like the idea. I don’t really see it being a 6th man role though. He would be the starting center next to collins. The fourth year that they are talking about is what scares me. Don’t want to commit that kind of money long term and be stuck with a bad contract in 4 years when Trae, Collins, Huerter, and this year’s picks are in their primes.

Skills - why do you think that? Reports are that Suns looking at Coby White at 6. Lonzo easily has more potential than White. Is it the extra two years of White on the rookie deal?
