New York/Orlando

New York: Vucevic and Ross

Orlando: DSJ, Matthews, 2019 1st

New York gets two more expiring contracts and frees up a 3rd max slot for FA

Orlando gets PG of the future and another 1st in a loaded draft class.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 01 Feb 2019 17:47:33
They do not free up a 3rd Max spot with this trade. Plus you want the Knicks to give up a top 3 pick (and DSJ) for two expiring contracts?

2.) 01 Feb 2019 17:58:17
I know the Knicks don’t make good decisions, but come on.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 18:07:06
Great trade! Knicks get two expiring contracts, free up about 5 million. and all it costs is potentially the number 1 pick overall and DSJ. Awesome and well thought out.

4.) 01 Feb 2019 18:32:52
Cant trade DSJ and Matthews in the sane deal.

5.) 01 Feb 2019 18:35:32
In all fairness, the Knicks do receive an all star in the trade too. Vuc is incredibly underrated. If they signed two stars and retained him as their third star, that would be a really good trio.

That said, yeah, the pick would have to be top 1 protected at the very least, if not top 3 protected. Maybe make it one or both of Dallas' picks instead.

6.) 01 Feb 2019 18:21:50
DSJ, Mathews have to be traded 1 for 1 now.

Dallas/Boston/Orlando

Dallas: Rozier, Ross, Vucevic

Boston: Jordan, Simmons, Orlando 2019 2nd

Orlando: DSJ, Matthews, Brown, Dallas 2019 2nd

OldskoolMagic

1.) 26 Jan 2019 12:00:39
Boston can’t bring in $28 million and only send out $8 million?

2.) 26 Jan 2019 17:12:41
The players involved with this are interesting if the Celtics are going all in for this year. Jordan would be a very good piece, and I don't see Rozier being back with the club next year unless they let Irving walk (which while doubtful, is entirely possible. ) I don't like letting go of Brown, especially on a down year So I might want that to be a 1st.

All of it is moot though. The Celtics are bringing in 30 million while only sending out 8 million.

Orlando/Portland

Portland: Terrence Ross

Orlando: Moe Harkless, 2019 1st

Portland gets a knockdown wing they are searching for and gets out of Harkless's contract for next year.

Orlando brings back Harkless and gets a 1st for taking on the additional year of salary.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 12 Jan 2019 00:10:04
$11.5 mil for a first rounder is not enough. Recommend Orlando include a 2019 2nd rounder to make up the difference.

2.) 12 Jan 2019 04:27:08
Fredman: I realize you know better than NBA GMs, however this exact trade is already being considered. Portland wants a 3 pt shooting wing and are willing to give up a 1st, plus they want to shed salary. This accomplishes all of that.

3.) 12 Jan 2019 05:35:02
Portland should have jumped in on that Korver deal then. aminu and the 1st roung pick?

4.) 12 Jan 2019 06:12:19
Hell, Kings would even do a Shumpert for Harkless + 2019 1st rounder in a heartbeat. Probably even toss in Minnesota's 2019 2nd rounder.

Hearing rumors Celtics and Spurs both want Vucevic from Orlando. Here are a couple trades I think could benefit everyone.

Trade #1

Celtics: Vucevic, Fournier

Magic: Hayward, Rozier, 2019 1sts (Sac and LAC)

Celtics get cap relief, get 2 players that will help their playoff push.

Orlando gets a PG, MAYBE Hayward returns to his old self, and 2 1sts for taking on Hayward.

Trade #2

Spurs: Vucevic

Magic: Gay, Murray, 2019 1st (SA)

Spurs get double double Vooch

Magic get a 1st, a PG in Murray, and a contributor in Gay.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 31 Dec 2018 17:03:34
Second trade take Gay out.

2.) 31 Dec 2018 18:42:09
Chiller money doesn't work without Gay.

3.) 31 Dec 2018 18:45:32
trade 1 is a crazy overpay for boston. 2 is only fair if pick is something like top 20 protected.

4.) 31 Dec 2018 19:01:21
Cant take out Gay because the salaries need to match. sigh.

Make the 1st rounder the Raptors pick.

5.) 31 Dec 2018 19:01:27
Spurs usually don't trade their meager assets and for an expiring contract that they can't re-sign? Celtics wouldn't be able to deal Fournier in a Davis deal if Holiday is still there.

6.) 31 Dec 2018 19:46:18
That DRose Rule is a muther.

7.) 31 Dec 2018 20:52:32
Fredman why? Teams have planned for years in advance for Davis to leave the Pels? I think everyone expects Davis to be there for the supermax offer. It would have been a thought when trading for Irving if Ainge and co. Are as diligent as I think they are. I think it bothers impatient and eager fans more to just accept the plan all along has been a deal in the summer if that's the course. Good ammunition for Celtic-haters.

8.) 31 Dec 2018 22:11:36
Oh, totally agree that it is a trade for the summer. Just trying to get an idea what gets the deal done, mixed in with all the FA signings.

9.) 01 Jan 2019 00:03:29
Hayward,
Yabouselle,
Horford if he opts in,
Smart,
Tatum,
Brown,
Ojeleye,
Bird?,
R. Williams.
Plus MEM, LAC, SAC, BOS '19 picks. Maybe they also deal Rozier for a pick at the deadline? Have that to throw in too. That is their War chest by my count. Pretty impressive. I think all these guys are available if necessary, within reason of course.

10.) 01 Jan 2019 12:49:59
My opinion if that's what Boston has for Davis trade. If there not including brown and tatum. I'm taking bi and kuz plus 2019 and21 Lakers pick over anything from Boston. Say lakers miss play offs that pick would have more value.

11.) 01 Jan 2019 12:50:26
That would be a draft night trade btw.

12.) 01 Jan 2019 17:20:04
It won't be a draft night trade because the Pels can't tender the supermax offer to Davis until July 1st I think. It's the standard, dangle the money to see if it's accepted.

13.) 01 Jan 2019 18:14:28
If Boston want Davis I just don't see it happening. one reason they wouldn't include tatum and brown. Like the Lakers will include bi and ball, bi and kuz or ball and kuz. Either trade Boston can't beat if they don't add both brown and tatum. I rather have more proven players then none lottery rookies. I want big assets not a bunch of minor assets like boston has outside of tatum and Brown.

Dallas/Philly/Orlando

Dallas: Vucevic, J. Simmons, Chandler

Philly: Ross, Barnes, 2019 2nd Dallas, 2020 2nd Orlando

Orlando: DSJ, Fultz, 2021 1st Philly

Dallas gets a near double double every night in Vucevic and a couple wings, plus can play Doncic at PG like they want to. Plus opens up cap for next year to lure someone to play with Doncic.

Philly gets out of Fultz, gets a couple wings to help with shooting and a couple 2nds because they love 2nds... Lol.

Orlando gets starting backcourt of the future to pair with their young core, opens minutes for Bamba, and a future first.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 30 Dec 2018 22:53:06
Salaries don't match. Orlando isn't taking back enough in salary for Vucevic, Ross and Simmons.

2.) 30 Dec 2018 23:14:09
I love it. Wont ever happen but I love it.

3.) 30 Dec 2018 23:31:22
According to trade machine, this trade can work if Philly gives up about $8M or more, so add Reddick to Orlando and an Orlando 2019 2nd to Philly and it works.

4.) 31 Dec 2018 00:25:27
Wouldnt it be better for Orlando to simply take Ross out of the deal instead of taking on more salary with Reddick and coughing up a high second rounder?

5.) 31 Dec 2018 01:02:08
No Fredman because Philly wouldn't do this deal without Ross, plus even adding Reddick Orlando is still saving money in the deal. Not to mention Reddick was pretty good when he was in Orlando.

6.) 31 Dec 2018 01:12:29
Additionally Reddick is important. He is the best shooter by far on the Sixers. So you think the Sixers are what giving up on the first overall. Giving their best shooter by far. For what, an average bench piece and an over paid redundant wing? Magic fans are possibly the most dillusional fans on here. Well. Besides the lakers fans that think ball has any serious value.

Holy f***ing crap Batman

GSW

C- Boogie Cousins
PF- Draymond Green
SF- KD
SG- Thompson
PG- Curry

Doesn't really matter who is on the bench if these 5 average 35+ minutes a night.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 03 Jul 2018 11:39:03
What goes up must come down.

2.) 03 Jul 2018 21:42:16
Any team can be beaten what if cousins doesn't mesh well with the others and it would be the second half of next season when he comes back right whenyou're supposed to start clicking.

02 Jul 2018 01:25:45
LBJ has signed a 4yr $154M deal with the Lakers... Now all the Cavs fans can shut up about him re-signing and can burn his jerseys again.

OldskoolMagic

1.) 02 Jul 2018 06:54:21
No burning of jerseys and I'm pretty sure most fans were saying he could come back or he could leave and I still believe that if things had went differently this season, he'd still be in Cleveland, but I can't blame him for leaving that roster behind. Rebuild time. (My Cavs rebuild trades will be just as obnoxious for you, I'm sure) .

2.) 02 Jul 2018 13:38:51
Where's irving's Dan gilbert letter praising him like he invented life on earth?

dude no one cares about trades you made in a video game that is 2 years old now.

2.) 15 Oct 2016 20:49:40
yeah, not even exaggerating. this is the most worthless post I have ever seen on here. Echoing Larrylegend, legit, no one cares and this has no reason to be on here. It's as valuable as me explaining what I had for lunch yesterday, stating I have an upcoming dentist appointment, or naming my favorite colors. If you are bored. go do some hop scotch. At least you don't waste our time as well.
