Detroit get Knox, Ntilikina & both Dallas 1st

Knicks get Grant & 2 2nd rd picks

1.) 01 May 2021 10:54:41
Ntilikina is a pending RFA?

Even thou, I doubt it is enough to get Detroit to consider trading their only scorer (short of Bey) .

2.) 01 May 2021 23:00:40
It is ideas like this that gives Knicks fans a bad rep.
Let's start with

Toppin Knox both ny and dal 21 23 1st
Barrett Knox both dal 1st

If detriot wasn't so bad Grant had potential to be an allstar.

Sac - Orl - Det

Sac get Ross & Grant

6th man: Ross

Orl get Hield & 2nd rd pick Det

Det get Bagley, Bamba & 1st rd pick Sac 2022 lottery protected

1.) 10 Apr 2021 15:44:16
Ross + Bamba does not get Orlando Hield and a second.

2.) 10 Apr 2021 16:23:43
Detroit don't want no bust bagley.

3.) 10 Apr 2021 18:12:08
I offered Randle Barrett Bamba for Grant plumlee bey. Knox to orl. Every crapped on me. Bagley and Hield is 1 way inconsistent offensive player and bamba are on Knox's value board. So how do the Kings get the 2 best players in that trade. Why would magic do that. Fredman, your a kings fan, why is he posting 1 sided trade for u.

4.) 10 Apr 2021 19:09:36
First off, Ross is far, far from the 2nd best player in this trade. Career 41.9 shooting percentage says non-efficent volume shooter. But he gets to put up a lot of shots in Orlando. Not very valuable on a team that would limit his shooting IMO.

Hields career numbers are significantly better than Ross even though Hield is having probably his worse season. Why trade low? And obviously MD wants to get him cheaply.

Grant's trade value is also tricky to measure becauae he gets to maximize his usage in Detroit. Pretty sure that usage gets curtailed in Sac with Fox and a developing Halliburton. Thus giving up the first seems like an overpay in Sac's GM's mind.

Now if it was Orlando giving up the first instead of Sac, then I would think the values would be right and support this move.

5.) 11 Apr 2021 14:59:47
Detroit says no by a mile. Grant is far better than two busts that are projects and a protected first. Detroit would want a young A caliber prospect + picks for him.
Orlando doesn’t really have the need to trade for Hield, however, they do have a tendency to pick up draft picks that didn't pan out, so maybe they make an offer for Bagley. Probably like a 2nd and Ross for him.

6.) 11 Apr 2021 23:04:36
Detroit don't want no bbb.
Busted bagley bamba.

Minnesota - Atlanta

Minny receives John Collins max s&t

Atlanta receives Malik Beasley, Juan Hernangomez & unprotected 1st round pick

1.) 08 Apr 2021 16:36:10
So Minnesota goes over the Luxury tax line for a team that will be struggling to make the playoffs. Receipt for getting a GM fired.

2.) 08 Apr 2021 22:39:32
Way too much for the right to over pay Collins. Even signing him out right to the max is an upside play.

23 Mar 2021 20:32:00
Rockets / Nuggets

Rockets get Harris, Barton & 1st round pick

Nuggets get Oladipo & Gordon

Wing players swap. Oladipo is still the best among the others that's why Nuggets have to give up a 1st. Nuggets go all in to win even if Oladipo is leaving in free agency.

1.) 24 Mar 2021 11:41:28
Isn’t Gordon out for the year?

23 Mar 2021 20:27:02
Knicks get Lonzo Ball, Justin Holiday
- Knicks get a much improved version of Lonzo and a quality guy to come off the bench

Ball Rose Payton
Quickley Burks
Barrett Bullock Holiday
Randle Gibson
Robinson Noel

Indiana get Eric Bledsoe, Frank Ntilikina, 2 1st round picks from New Orleans, DAL 1st from Knicks
- Pacers can buyout Bledsoe if they want or stick with him and trade him offseason

Pelicans get Malcolm Brogdon, Kevin Knox

1.) 24 Mar 2021 07:24:24
Knicks not trading pick for Lonzo. They can sign him next yr as they more money than anybody to sign him. his father wants him to be a knicks player too.

I don't know but i hope the Lakers go to the play-in tournament. Go and win it and face one of Utah or Phoenix. If they lose, they kinda deserve it. They can't always rely on "Lebron" coming back.

1.) 08 May 2021 20:39:50
Without James it shows his true worth but you can’t say Davis can’t carry a team cause without James they be a different team cause they have lots of cap.

2.) 08 May 2021 20:42:03
I see Lakers finishing number 6. James working out to come back better.

3.) 09 May 2021 01:14:17
wouldn't be surprised to see the Lakers go 2-3 on the remaining 5 games considering the last 4 on back-to-back games which means players will be rested.

Can also see the Blazers also going 2-3 in remaining 5 which means tiebreaker goes to Portland. Mavs go 3-2.

4.) 09 May 2021 04:06:16
Portland will go 4-1 or maybe 5-0. They are a beast in closing out the regular season.

5.) 09 May 2021 04:49:53
@Psiphon. Not seeing that with Portland ending the season against the Jazz, Suns and Nuggets.

6.) 11 May 2021 18:31:00
Portland is 0-6 against Jazz, Suns and Nuggets as of today.

05 Apr 2021 12:36:13
Maybe i'm not that old yet but someone here tell me, are the players back in the days maybe 80's and 90's or even early 2000's sit out ball games aside from being majorly injured? It's kind of annoying that these dudes today sit out too many games. From what i remember, players like Kobe, AI, Dirk, Duncan, Garnett, etc doesn't mind playing back to back games and small injuries had never been an excuse

1.) 05 Apr 2021 15:35:02
I can remember somewhat similar situations like Pippen refusing to go back into a game because a play was not being drawn up for him.

I can remember some players missing the last game of the season when playoff spots were locked with "minor" injuries. But I also remember some playing in order to juice some stats in order to win an award or set a record (AKA it was not about the team or winning the game) .

But there also wasn't the science back in the 80's, 90's and 2000's that backed up getting proper amount of rest before games in order to lower the risk of significant injury.

But I like to focus more on the hypocrisy of Adam Silver saying that teams can not "rest" players on TV games (because of the $$$$) but can "rest" players with no consideration to the ticket buyer.

2.) 05 Apr 2021 17:00:32
Duncan and spurs started the resting guys trend.

3.) 06 Apr 2021 15:43:39
Small injuries have always been a reason to sit. It’s become a bigger deal because testing and history has shown teams they need to take better care of guys.

Kobe is really not a good example. He was a very rare breed. That said, he also physically fell apart at 34. He ran himself into the ground. Iverson was 33 when his body was done. Both were incredibly tough, but there was a price to that toughness.

As Shiller said, Duncan’s team was the originator of load management.

4.) 06 Apr 2021 23:44:14
"Old Duncan" team with Kawhi, not "young Duncan" team with David Robinson.

5.) 07 Apr 2021 09:48:36
The Bulls management and Jordan didn't like Pippen staying out. the first i remember is the spurs resting the old players in back to back games (vs Miami)

I think it's a good thing players can rest. 82 games+ playoffs is heavy. In soccer it's usual that the team rotate.

I always wonder how the carreer of players like B Roy, R Sampson, B Daughrty, pete Maravic, G Muresan, P Hardaway, G Hill, J Bender would have been, if they could have stayed healty.

6.) 07 Apr 2021 14:14:55
@gasupo. I disagree with you about the rest. The reason that the players need "rest" is because they are playing 40 mins per game in back to back. AKA they are being overworked. One answer is to rest them while another (which will lead to less injury) is not to overwork them in each game.

7.) 08 Apr 2021 13:41:51
I agree that playing to many minutes is a problem too.
But it could be important for some players to rest. Not all body's can play 82 games.

8.) 08 Apr 2021 15:40:05
Most players today are pansies compared to the ones 50 years ago. That being said, is possible there is too much emphasis put on spending hours upon hours of being in the gym?

17 Mar 2021 22:02:58
If you have the right assets, who would you trade them for?

Towns or Sabonis?
Jerami Grant or Aaron Gordon?
Oladipo or Russell?
Porzingis or Vucevic?
Oubre or Fournier?

1.) 18 Mar 2021 03:42:36

2.) 18 Mar 2021 11:24:48
Agree with NBA16 with all.

3.) 18 Mar 2021 13:15:56
Agree as well except for Oubre over Fournier simply because of position (on Kings roster) . Oubre can play the SF while I do not see that with Fournier.

4.) 18 Mar 2021 13:19:23

Would minny trade Sabonis for KAT?

5.) 18 Mar 2021 14:01:39
Oubre or Fournier? I’d wait in both until summer to be free agents. Neither pushes contenders up or building block for rebuild.

13 Mar 2021 22:01:20
The Sixers should stay healthy to give the Nets some competition out there.

1.) 14 Mar 2021 10:10:44
Where do you get your insight from?

11 Mar 2021 04:27:40
If bought out by the Spurs, the Nets should sign LMA while they're at it lmao.

1.) 11 Mar 2021 06:06:08
I know, right!

New playoffs format schedule

Brooklyn vs winner of LAL vs Utah 1 game playoff.

2.) 11 Mar 2021 15:45:02
Would honestly love him as the sixers back up 5.

3.) 11 Mar 2021 18:45:16
I don't know why, but I keep seeing a LMA for Drummond trade.

4.) 11 Mar 2021 20:24:48
I know a good shrink if ya feel like ya need one. Just saying. Drummond would be a good choice for the future, he's still young.

5.) 11 Mar 2021 23:04:33
Fredman Cavs get a second and cheaper buy out. Maybe flip Cedi for Mills?

6.) 11 Mar 2021 23:29:22
Too many contenders are willing to give CLE better fits (young players/ picks) for Drummond.

7.) 12 Mar 2021 12:26:43
Drummond will be bought out. Then he'll go to a contender.

Obviously we all know this kind of trade won't happen. As far as i know, Gasupo is just trying to make a deal and see the value of each player (sometimes)
