Rockets get Oladipo (w/ extension agreement), PJ Tucker & 2nd round pick
Houston get Dallas 2021 1st, Knicks 2022 lottery protected 1st, Kevin Knox, Frank Ntilikina, Reggie Bullock
1.) 19 Feb 2021 16:43:23
U mean the Knicks?
2.) 19 Feb 2021 19:58:35
"A team may extend and trade a player within these rules. An extension-and-trade is allowed if (i) the contract covers no more than 3 seasons (including any years remaining in the original contract), (ii) the salary in the first year of the extended term is no more than 105% of the salary in the last year of the original term, and (iii) the annual salary increases are no more than 5% of the salary in the first season covered by the extended term. "
So Oladipo is signing a (max) 3 year/ $69.51 mil deal ($22.05, $23.15 and $24.31). I think that is a little on the low side compared to what he will get in FA (especially from Miami after they do not pick up options on Dragic and Iggy) .

Phoenix get Jerami Grant
Detroit get Dario Saric, Devon Carter, Etwann Moore, a future 1st round pick & 2 2nd round picks
If Phoenix are serious about contending, they will definitely look for players that can help them do that. Grant seems like a perfect fit at the forward spot
Paul Payne Galloway
Booker Johnson
Bridges Crowder Nader
Grant Smith
Ayton Kaminsky
1.) 17 Feb 2021 09:54:40
Thats the best detroit can get for grant and i like this for cp3.
16 Feb 2021 20:16:22
Portland get Rondo, Collins
Hawks get Trent Jr, Jones Jr & 2 2nd round picks
This might look like a low ball offer for Collins but Trent could be a good back court partner for Young in years. Portland improved their chance of competing for the championship
Blazers
Lillard rondo
Mccollum Simons Elleby
Covington Melo
Collins Little Collins
Nurkic Kanter Giles
Hawks
Young Dunn
Trent Bogdanovic
Jones jr Huerter Reddish
Hunter Gallinari
Capela Fernando Okongwu
1.) 16 Feb 2021 20:37:43
A Trent for Collins centered deal has been talked about a bit in Blazer areas a little. I’d love it. Trent has been incredible since the bubble, but at some point Portland has to choose between him and McCollum. If they could land Collins for him, I’d do it.
The problem is they just paid Bogdonovic. Are they willing to put that much money into two SGs when Trent gets a massive offer this offseason? And would either be happy as the 6th man?
2.) 17 Feb 2021 09:58:40
I like it, but i think atlanta can get a protected 1st pick for him.
15 Feb 2021 20:21:28
Dallas get Griffin & Ellington
Doncic-Brunson
Richardson-Terry-Green
Finney-Smith-Ellington-Bey
Griffin-Powell
Porzingis-WCS-Marjanovic
Detroit get Hardaway, Johnson & 2nd rd pick
1.) 15 Feb 2021 22:30:36
Why would Dallas want to pay Griffin all that money and he sucks is right now?

15 Feb 2021 20:13:44
So Drummond might be heading to Toronto?
What's best for Blake Griffin?
1.) 15 Feb 2021 21:32:17
Cleveland is just assessing the value. Raptors interest in Drummond would only be if they thought he could help them go deeper in the playoffs. but they would have to give up Powell to match salaries and they still wouldn't have enough to contend.
05 Feb 2021 23:30:23
I'm shocked that Kuzma and Harrell are top 20 in defensive rating.
1.) 09 Feb 2021 20:03:50
Sick.
19 Jan 2021 23:35:13
Can anyone talk about the problem of some young guys having trouble in the NBA like Porter Jr. i think it's not the first time that this happens. There were issues about drugs/maijuana in the past. I just can't remember who are involved. What's wrong besides they are young
1.) 20 Jan 2021 12:25:58
The hand gun he had at 20 is my issue, also hitting a woman earlier. Pot is a victimless crime to me.
2.) 20 Jan 2021 12:58:25
Ate you okay with giving a young person a million dollars of YOUR money who has a history of making bad choices while in a c.v. world?
3.) 20 Jan 2021 15:08:57
Young people are often dumb. That’s pretty much it. Give a young dumb 20 year old millions, and it doesn’t change the fact that they’re dumb.
That said, the crime rate of professional athletes is quite a bit lower than the national average, so having a team, agent, etc does help keep most of these guys from making too big of mistakes.
4.) 21 Jan 2021 04:17:00
With the stuff coming out, it sounds like KPJ may need some fairly significant psychiatric help. It seems like something that could spiral into a D West type thing or worse.
5.) 21 Jan 2021 04:50:18
The inmates run this Asylum. Sad, but so true!
6.) 21 Jan 2021 15:15:52
You mean the incredibly important and talented employees have say in the business decisions of the overall company?
I’m not sure how that’s a bad thing. Most companies could use a strong union like the NBA has.
7.) 21 Jan 2021 16:47:36
Yes, BMiller. Those employees are called Management.
8.) 21 Jan 2021 23:26:50
Yeah, like the president, VP, and director of the players association. They’re management in the NBA.
9.) 22 Jan 2021 10:38:14
Hopefully your boss doesn't sit you down and tells you that you've been traded for a Happy Meal, and now you have the privilege of saying "would you like fries with that. A union can only back you so much. You become unhinged, your on your own. Unless your the owner of tha Asylum.
10.) 22 Jan 2021 20:32:14
@biggie. Actually, I am retired military. I got traded/ transferred about every 3 years. I was actually looking forward to it most of the times. New challenges and new scenery where always welcome.
@BMiller. Actually, I would argue that the Player's Association is outside of the NBA and its management) . Pretty sure, that the NBA front offices do not write their paychecks (except for maybe the CP3's in the league who are probably double-dipping) .
09 Jan 2021 08:55:35
What are the chances of these guys making the all star team?
East
Jerami Grant
Gordon Hayward
Fred VanVleet
Zach Lavine
Jaylen Brown
Collin Sexton
Julius Randle
West
Zion Williamson
John Wall
DAaron Fox
CJ McCollum
Shai Alexander
1.) 09 Jan 2021 12:55:15
I'm heavily biased, but Fred went off for 34 last night. He's getting more and more consistent.
2.) 09 Jan 2021 12:55:45
Brown is also doing crazy good now.
3.) 09 Jan 2021 14:43:40
Brown in the East, Zion in the West. Wall is a dark horse depending on how the Harden situation plays out.
Grant in the running for MIP thou.
4.) 10 Jan 2021 00:14:13
Hayward is in if coaches pick by value not hype.
5.) 10 Jan 2021 13:16:49
McCollum has been incredible so far. I can’t imagine he keeps this up, but he’s averaging 28, 5, and 4. How do you keep him out? He’s third in the league in scoring right now.
6.) 10 Jan 2021 16:32:05
Beal averaged 30 and was left out, granted he is on the wizards.
01 Jan 2021 14:11:47
Honestly, Utah needs another go to scorer. Mitchell's scoring load is heavy. Gobert is a defensive specialist. Clarkson is too inconsistent, I don't think Bogdanovic cracks it. Utah's defense is great but i don't see them being a championship contender with what they have. Who would they go to in a trade?
1.) 01 Jan 2021 15:09:04
Have to wait until mid-season and/ or trade deadline to see what non-playoff teams have to offer. Not really seeing much available at the moment outside of Harden which would cost Mitchell at a minimum.
DeRozen and/ or LMA may become available. Wiggins and Oubre if Warriors are out of the playoff hunt.
2.) 07 Jan 2021 15:04:16
Powell could help?
21 Feb 2021 07:03:09
This is ridiculous.
20 Feb 2021 07:48:59
If i'm the Celtics i'm not trading Brown. They should offer Smart, Nesmith or Pritchard + some matching salaries and number of picks. If Washington say no, then just stay put.
20 Feb 2021 07:46:58
Cant see both teams wanting his tbh. If Portland trades for Green, Nurkic will not be available, they will pair them for sure. If GS trade Green, i see Boston as a great landing spot, also Miami or Phoenix.
20 Feb 2021 07:44:47
Kings say no and the Cavs are not getting that return for Drummond.
19 Feb 2021 10:26:26
Nah Lakers say no to that.
